The unexpected attack left the 40-year-old victim in agony as she was rushed from Boston Logan International Airport's Terminal E to the hospital on Sunday around 7:30 pm, Boston EMS told WCVB.

Police have not publicly named the woman and there have been no updates on her condition. It is also unclear how the arachnid ended up in the airport and what species it was.

A spokesperson from the Massachusetts Port Authority told DailyMail.com the agency does not have any further details about the shocking incident.
