On Tuesday night, President Donald Trump is delivering an unofficial “State of the Union” address to the United States Congress and to the American people. It will be his first major speech since the start of his second presidential term.
In his last “State of the Union” speech, on February 4, 2020, then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was so enraged that she tore up his written remarks. This act of defiance was highly inappropriate and unprecedented. Republican House Speakers never acted in such a manner.

Why would this upcoming speech be termed as an “unofficial” SOTU? Will there be a second one?

Maybe we can call it an unofficial 2nd inauguration speech as March 4th was the original day for inaugurations..
Or maybe we can call it an official tariff speech because I thought some tariffs start on March 4th as well..

The squad and other Democrats will show their ass tomorrow. Turn their backs. Yell and stomp. Wear Ukraine colors. They will behave like toddlers as usual. Maybe their seats will be empty. Be nice if they just don’t attend.
A newly sworn in president’s is never called a SOTU. The next three or seven are.

Far as I’m aware, none of the EOs have any validity outside of the Exec. Branch (per the Const.). No dept/agency+ has been abolished per Congress. The recent “budget” bill was passed w/ rousing applause by 99% of Congress, bloating the debt even more, while eliminating any/all ‘ceilings’...
Sadly, nothing that can’t be re-started, re-employed, re-grown after the next 3yrs+

So, it was. This may be the first time I’m even paying attention and/or anticipating the SOTU.
Whatever he says, will produce high level responses all over the globe, for various reasons, but mostly because the president is the incomparable Donald Trump.
