Actress KJ Smith bizarrely suggested that the black community “start looking into” moving to Africa due to the political climate in the United States during a red carpet event at the Oscars on Sunday evening.
After being asked if there is something she wishes “is there something that you wish was talked about more within our community,” Smith replied, “Understanding our roots,” adding, “I think it’s really important.”

Check with the US Embassy for local conditions. Also check the federal government travel advisories for medical advice. It would be wise to set up a visit before moving to scout out the place.
There are some well run countries in Africa. That might give you a better chance for eventual integration. Check out the business environment. They do need capitol, but that has its own extra risks. Even the Small Business Administration in the US gave me warnings about investing in developing countries!
Some habits are different. Before getting married locally I was supposed to go out at night and kill a cow that would be used for the marriage meal. They let me off the hook due to being from a different tribe.

American Blacks wouldn’t last two weeks in Africa. You can’t play the victim card there.
Then take African Americans, far longer removed from West Africa, and often having European or American Indian ancestors, and place them in Nigeria, Ghana, or Liberia. The locals are culturally conservative and traditionally religious. (Keep in mind that African clergy are usually on the conservative side of Catholicism, Anglicanism, and Methodism.) More prosperous black Americans often do not share these values. Repatriation won't work.
Not sure ... I thought Liberia's reason for existence is to register and flag crappy, poorly maintained merchant ships.

I’ve traveled Africa...extensively. I’ve been lucky enough to meet some outstanding,thoroughly admirable,Africans as a result. I’d wager the clothes on my back that every one of them would,if allowed to immigrate to the US,kiss the ground upon arrival to show their gratitude.
They’re already doing that with the illegals.🤔
