Well a blast from the past, to the youngins out there, she was big in the 70's.
She was never political, and funny.

My guitar instructor saw her in concert a few years ago - said she was fantastic.
I'm talking Alvin Lee and he's talking Charo - go figure.

What English class D student wrote the headline?
Insinuates she sung the Love Boat theme song.

With all the nonsense of her in the last decades she actually could play Flamenco music very well! I have one of her CDs! She could have made it on her own without the Coochie Coochie nonsense.

Studied guitar with Andres Segovia. Married band leader Andres Segovia in 1966. If she’s 72, she was 13 when married. Ya, sure.

I just remember her from Maaco Body Shop ads.
She tended to wear cut-offs or hot pants and tee-shirts.
She had lots of hair, and it sounds like she was happy with just a working knowledge of the English language. That’s all I know of her.

When I was a kid I found her utterly charming.

It amazes me that she is only 72. She was active on TV and on the show circuit 50 years ago. She must have only been 20 when she was on the Love Boat, Fantasy Island, etc.
