Roy from the Paul Harrell channel recently produced a short video with very good advice entitled ‘Go Buy A Gun.’
As he outlines in the video, you will want to check with local laws and seek out help if you’re not experienced in such matters. And we have six solid reasons to ‘pull the trigger’ (pardon the pun) on gun ownership.

Here is a summary of his six reasons:
1. All part of being prepared.
Owning a gun is simply a part of being prepared for emergencies. Where it’s better to have something and not need it than to need something and not have it. Firearms are like any other piece of emergency equipment, the same as first aid kits, fire extinguishers, water, and long-term food emergency food supplies. You never know what’s going to happen, so having emergency equipment like firearms puts you in a much better position to survive when the excrement intersects the rotatory air distribution device.
2. Resisting the lies.
We’ve all heard them, ‘It’s easier to buy a gun than to vote’ or ‘It’s easier to buy a gun than buy vegetables.’ Those of us who have gone through the process of buying a gun – but lost it somewhere in a tragic boating accident – know those are complete lies. The infuriating thing is the perpetrators of those lies most likely know this themselves, but they don’t care.
If you’ve never purchased a gun before, you might succumb to that thinking -- at least on a subconscious level – then when someone asks about the issue and you don’t know, you might fall back on the words of the control freak contingent of our society. This is where going through the process yields tremendous benefits for you and everyone else.

Inventory your firearms. See which ones have a paper trail back to YOU! Wish I still had those I bought before the 1968 gun control act became law.
Exactly true !
Or else : YOYO ( You are on your own, ..and stand alone)
And find the self defense laws in your state. I learned them for my state and so know exactly what is legal self defense and thus what to tell the cops if a perp has to get shot on my property.
In many states you can do a person-to-person sale without going through a FFL.
Not really. That’s a cult belief that a gun is like a samurai sword needing training and deep knowledge. If you had a water pistol as a kid, in about 60 seconds you should be able to load and shoot a standard 38 revolver or Ruger 10/22 rifle that makes a fine house gun.
The samurai narrative is pushed by the modern bearded tacticool crowd on YouTube. It helps then feel special and also let’s then sell you things. You should get training and practice, but don’t worry if you can’t. You can still defend yourself effectively.
It shouldn’t be any more confusing than operating blow dryer.
I have guns but the real secret is location, location, location.
6 more reasons to buy a gun
1. Christiansen Arms
2. Tikka Sako
3. Winchester
4. Weather y
5. Bergara
6. CVA
The one you are carrying is the most important one. The rifle you are fighting to get to is a close second.
Spotted some skate board TWOT jump my back fence and walk across the back yard to the front gate. Broad daylight. Our dogs, some froofroo cocker spaniels were going nuts.
Wife and i escorted him to gate and out.
I now have a leftover target from the shooting range nailed to doors with : “Only warning”.
My gun safes are packed full, of course that just means i need a new one of those.
By location I meant where I live. There won’t be any liberal violence in my backwater, it’s %60-%40 Trump. The incidence of “F Biden” and “F Your Feelings” bumperstickers on giant lifted pickups around here is enough to keep their heads on a swivel.
Who needs a reason.just do it
511
Oh, and those bumperstickers are fully spelled out, not just the “F”.
Be sure to practice "choice of weapon". You never want to hesitate on that.
We’re MORE than prepared. ;)
That woman was lucky I wasn’t the daddy. I would have broken her neck right there, on the spot.
Too much euphoria after offing a liberal is indeed out of line.
Had a guy tell me he collected guns because he liked them and it was a way to pass wealth on to his children without them paying any tax on them should they sell them.
