Sort of thing where you should probably try to make amends.
NY city has such high quality officials.
Well he is going to have to start at step one again.....
I like how someone commented below the article:
“All because he gave up drinking. See, that’s why I’m having a beer right now .”
Now how is he going to pay you?
“My name is James, and I’m a murderer.”
Does he get a chip for that?
Does he still get his pension in prison?
Harsh
Now he has a lot more debt. Good going genius.
Gore Vidal wrote a book of essays published in 1968 called Sex, Death and Money.
He said the title was chosen because: “Sex, death and money are the essential interests of the naked ape”.
This story has 2 of the 3 factors.
Shoulda paid up
You can’t have manslaughter without laughter. this guy
Stop talking dude. his lawyer
There is nothing good that can be said here. There were two deaths in that parking lot, and the second corpse still acts alive.
Alcohol was involved!
NFP & NGO’S are cutting back. Collateral Damage. It’s going on here in Memphis, too. Edmund Ford (yes, those Fords) just turned himself in to the feds on NGO scams fleecing the schools and city government. The Faegins firing was the beginning of the whole cabal of NGO’S and NFP’s run by political spouses, family members, allies, etc....were being cut off. The board responded by firing Faegins for her refusal to pay them.
Mobster.
Well, this is a serious violation of the traditions.
Back in pre-gentrification days, there was an extremely rough looking crowd that came pouring out of a rowhouse just around the corner from me, every night a little after 9:00. For a long time, I used to debate whether it should be regarded as scary enough to avoid, but the crowd was always quiet and well behaved.
Some years later, after I had occasion to get my own Where & When, I understood why it was quiet and well behaved. All I’ll say is that you cannot sit in a meeting like that for very long and keep feeling sorry for yourself. And I know for a fact that for a half hour after the meeting, that was the safest street corner in Washington D.C.
I was tempted to make a snarky comment about meetings in NYC being worse because NYC lowlifes are worse than DC lowlifes (and I’m including myself here). But then I remember that this was back in Marion Barry days, so I’m sure we could match NYC drunk for drunk. Of course, that meeting didn’t have a parking lot, so nobody was hiding booze out in a car.
Hey it’s been known to happen
Anger is a thing
Gee I wonder if he practiced the 10th Step afterwards. No? I guess the part about “...and we practiced these principles in ALL our affairs” didn’t happen in this case.
