These politicians have perfected the art of raiding the treasury. Makes sense that they would allocate some of it in the attempt to buy elections and keep themselves in power to keep the spigot open. Even the EPA had a $20 billion slush fund just sitting in a bank account. At 5%+ interest, which was the rate over the last few years, that gave them over $1 billion a year to throw around without ever touching the principal. Meanwhile taxpayers are paying for the interest in borrowings. It’s sickening.
Major reform, arrests and prosecutions are warranted.
