most of Christianity has come to the belief that we are in the very last days No. I totally disagree. This might be true for some evngelical sects, who have been subject to 50 years of intense bombardment of end-time preaching and propaganda since Hal Lindsey published his screed in the 1970s. All the way through to Rev. Hagee and, apparently you.
But most Catholics and Orthodox don't believe this for the simple reasons that their churches don'r teach it. And between them they still represent the majority of Christians.
