I had to look it up on the IMDB to satisfy my curiousity. The first season was 1999.

You have my sympathy!
I am recovering from being REALLY sick!
Four days of HELL!

Was it the flu that got you (us)?
Hope you feel stronger real soon!

Be well!
Ms.B

Once while channel surfing I happened on a Ren & Stimpy video. I thought it was hilarious. But I’ve never been able to find it again. Bummer!

First of all, that’s a great observation, ie those aren’t SpongeBob’s fingers. I missed that. Kudos to you.

However, I hate to revel my inner dweeb, but those are Patrick’s fingers.

Thus, we can give Trump partial credit, since Patrick received the trophy “For doing absolutely nothing longer than annyone else.”

That was another good one from that 1990s era.

I believe government is too big, too many employees, too much assumed power, too restrictive, too biased, too much of a lot of things and needs very much to be slashed in size, spending and scope. However, really great leadership would rationally decide what needs to be cut and just cut it without belittling the people who are in it and alienating those who remain and encouraging the same from others. I’d like this path a whole lot more if someone were doing it as a leader instead of a high schooler leading a pack of hounds.

Thank you, Lee!
I was beginning to wonder if it
wasn’t something more serious.
(I have COPD)

Finally had something to eat-
who knew scrambled eggs and toast could taste
so very good!

Ditto on the sympathy!

No repiratory symptoms thankfully

Shakes, chills, sweats and muscle aches like I had done 15 hour days of hard labor.

Seem to be in the process of turning the corner here on day 6.

Strange thing, subnormal temps 2 days then 1 day normal, then two days 100+, then normal again

I’m just enough better to be bored out of my skull - no offense to my fellow FReepers. But not up do doing anything, and my evening bourbon still off the menu for several more days. /SAD face

Were you sick to your stomach at all?
Man, the first day, I spent “kneeling to the
Porcelain Goddess.” (aka vomiting)

The next day, well-let’s just say I spent
a lot of time there.
I couldn’t eat the first couple of days.

Today Day 5, I had scrambles eggs and toast.
tasted divine!
That made me feel much better.
Are you eating now, I hope?
Cheer up!
Your bourbon awaits!
Take care!

Free advice and all that...And I don’t have COPD, but the wife and I started on NAC during covid after reading a study published via NIH for treatment of repiratory area. I’ve only had a few viruses since then, but nothing has settled in my lungs with any of them.

The literature says it may offer a little symptomatic relief with COPD. My family doctor said it is quite safe. And it is cheap.

No upchucking here. No appetite and small amounts of food gave me the brick in the stomach feel. Day 4 or 5 food smelled more interesting and I’ve been able to eat small but normal meals. Not back to “full size” yet.

Annoyingly, I don’t think I have dropped a pound!

If you look it the list is in Squidward’s hand, but LOLOLOLO anyway.

The list is not in Squidward's hands (he has those semi-tentacle things). Those are Patrick's hands, I think (which is still a nice slap at fedgov employees).
