Donald Trump Jr. illegally hunted a protected duck during a trip to the Venice lagoon last December.

Earlier this month, a local hunting lifestyle company called Field Ethos released a video online of Trump’s trip that showed him shooting waterfowl in a special conservation area of the lagoon, Veneto regional councillor Andrea Zanoni previously wrote on Facebook.

At one point, Trump addresses the camera surrounded by dead waterfowl—including

I suppose it probably tasted better than seagull.

Like chicken.
But it sounds like a fellow SERE/DWST survivor here. Who else would even TRY seagull!

I went on a guided teal hunt in Katy, Texas once.

The guide tells you when it is OK to shoot. One of our party still managed to shoot a flamingo.

Wait, you went hunting with Dick Cheney?

I still don’t understand how you shoot a flamingo on a teal hunt,

Seems to me it would be a lot easier to spot and hit a big pink bird standing on stilts than a little duck with half its mass underwater. More meat, as well, I would think.

The regional hunting administrator previously said all rules and procedures had been followed, but the region announced it would open a police investigation to be sure...

When you travel overseas to hunt, you are fully dependent on your guide/host to stay compliant with hunting regulations.

I knew a guy that was teaching a couple of other guys to hunt ducks. Once, a couple of geese came over, in range. He was watching them approach, and watched as they flew off with no shots being fired. He looked at the guys and asked why they didn’t shoot. They said they’d bought their duck stamps, but didn’t know if geese were covered. Another time, he heard shots, and walked bavk to see what they’d shot at. One of them was bringing his kill back, out of the brush. He was holding the head way up high, and the butt was still dragging the ground. He’d shot a swan...a no -no in Oregon.

This story has all the earmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign.

There, that should work.

Doesn’t look the same as a ruddy shelduck if you view photos of the actual bird.

When I got out of the Army, I returned to Northern Arizona. Almost everyone I knew had a box of “Spotted Owl Helper” on the counter in the kitchen. LOL! Funny stuff.

No Flamingos are indigenous to Texas. This is what he probably shot:

What is the flamingo looking bird in Texas?

Roseate spoonbills grow to a height of 32 inches (81 cm), with an average wingspan of 50 inches (127 cm). Their distinguishing characteristics include their pink body and legs, white neck and breast. pale green bald head, spoon-shaped bill, and bright red shoulder patch.

Italy is one of the PIIGS.

It already sucks to be Italy.

And that is their choice.
