Giving birth can be one of the toughest times in a woman's life. But tonight the ministry of Justice is urgently looking into concerns raised by Channel 4 News that women at HMP Bronzefield in Surrey have been shackled and restrained while in labour - at times by male prison officers.
There are now calls for an independent inquiry into why this breach of both personal dignity and clear Government policy was allowed to happen. One woman told us she was left 'mentally tortured' by her ordeal two years ago.

In most states women are not allowed to be shackled from 2nd trimester on let alone while in active labor.

Some very sick people do not require any ‘reason’ to kill somebody, anybody. All this kind of person requires is the opportunity. This kind of person usually cannot ever be changed. Most of them know who and what they are.
Psychopathy is often related to frontal lobe damage or dysfunction. That area is associated with decision making, empathy,emotional regulation and making moral judgements.

Why are women guards overseeing mens jail cells where if the man happens to expose himself he can be charged with indecent exposure.Oh and what about male doctors in the delivery room, is that not ok either?

Prisons are institutions. There’s something called institutional memory or institutional learning. The way this works is by writing processes. Once the prison had a patient harm or kill medical personnel the process would be written to make sure it never happened again. You’ve probably run into something like this at some point. All you need is this one simple thing done, but the process prevents it. The guy following the process sees he could do it, whatever it is, but the process prevents it. The worker has no control. If he makes a decision and violates the process he’s written up or fired. Therefore, whatever the process calls for, he does. That’s the way institutions work. The only way to avoid dealing with this is to avoid being nationalized at any cost. Otherwise, you’re just a cog in the institutional process.
There are females that will hurt you and try to escape.
