His legacy is not one of neutral legal advocacy but of leveraging institutions, litigation, and media to shape political outcomes in favor of the Democratic establishment.

He probably feels the heat. If his enemies are encouraged by his failures, they might very well decide to go after him as an example of failed lawfare. In other words, if you use it, you better succeed, or your life is over effectively because your enemies will exact their pound of revenge.
In Eisen's case, it isn't as much revenge as the necessity of keeping him from raising his head ever again.

Since President Trump won in a landslide and also took the House and Senate I would say this guy sucks at what he does.

When you have a fancy name like that you can be pretty sure it's a far-left group. But I think this article left out a couple of flowery words: "Sensible" and "United". The real name would then be Sensible Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington United (SCREWU).

“show me the man and I’ll show you the crime!” How well will he stand up to full scrutiny by Trump’s team? Everyone has skeletons in their closet. A lawyer probably has more than a few.
Thing is, team Trump knows everything about him now. And the government money stream is going to get shut off.
