No plan to send Polish troops to Ukraine: Premier

Poland does not foresee sending its own troops to Ukraine, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Monday before flying to Paris for an emergency meeting with European leaders on the embattled country.

“We do not plan to send Polish soldiers to the territory of Ukraine. However, we will also support – in terms of logistics and political support – countries that in the future will want to provide such guarantees,” Tusk told a press conference in Warsaw.

Tusk also urged fellow European countries to boost their defense spending.

“It is crucial for Europe to make financial, organizational and political decisions regarding increasing its military potential,” he said.

He also reiterated US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s claim last week in Warsaw that Poland is “model ally” of the US.

“Poland has a special role to play because it has good relations with the US and spends over 4% of its GDP on defense. We have a special reputation and we have to play a positive role,” he said.

“I want to emphasize with all my strength that Poland is determined to cooperate on the issue of security, Ukraine, and war together with the EU, allies such as the UK, Norway, and the US. Regardless of what someone has to say to each other, sometimes brutally, there is no reason why the allies should not find a common language with each other on the most important issues,” said Tusk.

So they just have to wait for the Ukrainian collapse, to reclaim their old territory. This was predicted.

Disband NATO, apologize to your people for all the war mongering, rebuild the Nordstream pipeline you blew up, and carve up Ukraine into its history borders- Poland, Hungary, Romania independently will govern what’s left of Ukraine far better than the corrupted, unelected EU officials.

The EU has relied on absolutely everything cheap from Russia, restart trade and commerce- if not, the EU will fracture into oblivion.

As it stands...none of the EU countries will be sending troops to “Z”. The USA isn’t either.

The DMZ will be patrolled by Chinese and Turkish troops. EU doesn’t want to be there.

Is that a good idea, to mix the two?

That’s pretty much it. If it was going to happen, it would have already happened.

The best solution for everyone, including Zelensky, is replace him with a pro Russian government.

The killing stops. No need for peacekeeping troops. Elections delayed for years, much as they are being delayed now.

Russian troops will downsize, with para-police in the oblasts that voted to join Russia, because they will remain as Russian oblasts.

The good news.

The refugees can return.

Russian natural gas will flow into Ukraine, paid for by the transit tax of the Russian gas that Europe will decide to return to using, since there is no other source for that much. That transit tax will fund Ukraine nat gas consumption (that they often stole before, tolerated by GAZPROM since it was a friendly country)

Reconstruction? Russia will fund the reconstruction of their new oblasts. The EU can fund the rest, if they really care about reconstruction rather than dominating the government. The UN may ante up, too.

No more annual US $150B departing a country with $37T in debt. No more Euro drain or UK pound drain, other than what they provide for reconstruction.

Zelensky will be allowed an exile residence, assuming anyone will want to fund it or provide a refugee visa.

In general this is great news for everyone. Pretty simple to arrange, too.

That's what they had before the USA interfered and then Poroshenko (the Chocolate King) was elected. He was all for ethnic cleansing of everything Russian.

While this is your dream plan, I actually think it's pretty close.

I also believe the EU countries will say..."scr** Climate Change" it's making us all paupers.

I don’t think there will be a DMZ. I believe Ukraine will deed the two areas to Russia. There will be a new Russian/Ukraine border.

It won’t be long before the government of Poland does something stupid.

This is strange because Tusk doesn't really have a say: like the US, the President and not the Prime Minister is CINC of the Armed Forces under Poland's constitution.

Poland's President Duda, BTW, seems to have good relations with Trump.

LOL The Ukrainians will never accept that. If they must, they’ll die fighting and hand over a sea of ruins to Putin.
