Hopefully, checks aren’t going out to these phantoms. The undead SS numbers are probably just being used to generate illegal driving licenses, California Welfare and such.

Some freakish ones could be from old men who married very young women, and who still get their SS benefit.
A 100 year old guy marrying an 18 year old, with the former 18 year old now at 90+ would be a noteworthy, but possible, item.
In addition to the fraud being talked about, I wonder how many people are somehow drawing multiple social security checks, there is a total lack of audit control in the social security system I bet people have gamed the system and applied to social security multiple times using the same number and get approved each time.
Maybe Helen Thomas is still collecting Social Security. She was between 180-189 wasn’t she?
This is unbelievable if these are phantoms or not. If we ran a business like this guess where we would be.

And don’t forget that the last four digits of a social security number are used to validate Voter Registration.
So how many votes did Grover Cleveland get in 2024?
Those recipients over 120 are also likely “voting” as well, straight ticket Democrat.
I know a 100 year old woman who is sharp as a tack and still driving.
But I think she’s the exception that proves the rule.
