Got it marked on my calendar now. Thanks for the heads up.

    Blood moon
Not to be confused with Moon Bloodgood

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is opinion or satire. Or both.)

I had really hoped the silly term "blood moon" had been eliminated. Nope, it was right in the first sentence of the article at the site.
Now I just have to convince people they need to use welding goggles or their leftover solar eclipse glasses to watch it.

Remember a few years ago when we had a series of blood moons or something like that? People were writing books about how that presaged all kinds of things that never happened, of course.

Yes well, people don’t do the human sacrifice at midnight anymore. That’s always livened things up.
Now they’re just on their phones playing candy crush.

My then 14 year old grandson found the January 2019 eclipse exciting.

Human sacrifice at the lunar eclipse..
Hmmmm.
I can understand the need for entertainment. However dancing 💃 girls or torch singers would work as well!

Isn’t that caused by the sun coming between the earth and the moon? ;-D

No, no blood moon on October 7, 2023. Waning crescent. Bad things happened that day to Isreal.

Picture of the Bad stuff that happened to Gaza. Not the fault of the moon, its because Hamas is a criminal organization that likes to kill and rape. (What real religion tell its votaries that its OK to kill and rape? None.)

Yeah the moon turns a bit copper coloured and that is about it. Now a total solar eclipse on the other hand is dramatic. The difference is like night and day.

Should that ever occur we’d have some real ultra serious global warming to speak of. :)
