When I was growing up, the band used to play this song all the time on Friday Night and Saturday Night at the Midland Country Club.
There are also versions by George Strait and Asleep at the Wheel. Asleep at the Wheel is my favorite.

Of course there is an apostrophe: Big Ball’s in Cow Town = Big Ball is in Cow Town. “Ball” meaning “dance.”
