I highly recommend going to the Fringe Festival and the Edinburgh Tattoo that runs at the same time.

The Tattoo is one of the best, most life-affirming events in my life.

Being in Edinburgh Castle with torches around the perimeter, the dusk settling in the mist, with the bagpipes and drum corps playing was just fantastic.

A must do, bucket list item.

Are you kidding? In Stalingrad he’d be performing so often that he’d be worn out and collapse on stage, and his “fans” would follow him all the way back to Berlin.
