Some described the trio of earthquakes in San Bernardino on Monday as quick jolts that rattled nerves and frightened pets in the Victor Valley.
A magnitude 3.5 earthquake occurred at about 9:44 a.m. and about 3 miles north-northeast of San Bernardino, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
About 4 minutes later, a magnitude 3.0 quake stuck in the same location near the San Andreas Fault.
The quakes were east of California State University, San Bernardino, and were felt in Riverside, Fontana, Running Springs and portions of the Victor Valley, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Hesperia resident Samantha Martin told the Daily Press that the first quake felt like “a strong gust of wind that rattled” her home and frightened her three dogs.
“I was in the kitchen when I felt and heard the first earthquake,” Martin said. “I didn’t feel the second one.”
A third earthquake, a magnitude 3.6, was reported at 9:58 p.m. Monday, about 3 miles north-northeast of San Bernardino
Other earthquakes At 1:57 p.m. Monday, a magnitude 2.8 magnitude earthquake struck 6 miles north-northeast of Ocotillo Wells and east of the Salton Sea in San Diego County. The quake was along the San Jacinto Fault and southwest of the San Andreas Fault.
A magnitude 3.2 quake occurred at 2:23 p.m. Monday about 9 miles northeast of Little Lake, just north of Inyokern in Kern County,
There were no reports of damage or injuries.

If I didn’t know any better, I’d say that state is cursed. SMH
Paradise has its disadvantages
It is the product of its own history................
Not even a 4.0. Go back to bed.
Are they seriously trying to report 3.6 and 2.8 as “Earthquakes?”
More like someone dropped a beer keg.
Preshocks to the Big One?....................
You probably know this....Florida is the lightning strike state capitol.
You remember the last time we had a wildfire? ‘cause I can’t.
Reason is we do prescription burns and california refuses to.
IMO that’s a main reason they have wildfires......that and allowing a 3 inch inedible fish to keep water from where it needs to be.
Stuck on stupid doesn’t hardly say it when it comes to California politicians.
Eglin AFB owns the majority of land here across three counties, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton.
They are always doing controlled burns on some part or other........................
In California any earthquake under 4.0 is not even noticed—unless it is directly under your feet.
Having never experienced and earthquake of any size, here’s my question...
What would a 3.2 quake feel like? Would it be a jolt and then stop? Or would it be a low rumbling sensation? How long might one of these last - just a few seconds?
At what point on the Richter Scale would a quake be so bad that a person might have problems standing up?
Well now... that map certainly got my attention because within that inner circle is location of a couple of Messiah-themed dreams I had back in 2016. October 31 and Dec 29.
The specific location of these EQs ties right in, which I will get to in a moment.
Starting around the interchange of I-s 210 and 295.
That was the first dream, which occurred just ahead of the election, where I then ended up off the highway at a " McDonalds that wasn't a McDonalds". Seemed to make no sense, yet...
Upon awaking I checked the location on a map, and also checked the Mickey D's locations, and one of the details is that the Golden Arches original location is in SB, and had become the site of a museum, so it was literally a "McDonalds that wasn't a McDonalds":
the owner of the Juan Pollo chain..A museum also exists at the Original McDonald's site in San Bernardino on U.S. Route 66 in California. It is a reconstruction operated by the owner of the Juan Pollo chain and is not affiliated with McDonald's Corporation.[8]

In related news:
Since his death in 2023, Okura's efforts to save Amboy are being continued by his son Kyle.[11] The hope is that the town can continue to grow. Roy's has attracted some well-known regulars. Actors Harrison Ford and Anthony Hopkins have autographed photos on the walls of the restaurant and visit whenever their schedules allow. Ford frequently flies in and lands his plane on a nearby landing strip, one of the first ever built in California.[citation needed]I learn something new every day..
Like I knew any of this.. not. I'd merely checked out what the map would have to tell me.
(These numbers are both well-known in Jewish teachings, as 14 = David and 66 = son of David.)
Anyway, the dreams were quite detailed with the second one beginning to the north, where 215 splits off of 15, only it was a Tony's Pizza in that place, not Jerry's Cafe. It continued with specific mileage references in the direction of SD, that lined up with the real map.
I'll have to take a look around the area again now that it is suddenly on the radar.
As for the connection to David, that's where these EQs have been clustered. Here's the map for the epicenter of the largest so far, which is in the middle of the swarm. It's the one quoted at the top of this post.
"David Way" N[orth] starts at 40th St and ascends into the foothills from there.
There's a lot more in the data pool but I tend to bore people.
The 210 is the Foothill Freeway and 210 is known for being the length of the years of Egyptian bondage.
/"Random" trailheads. 🍿
Actually it was “Tony’s Diner”, as I can see from the old street views, but for whatever reason I’d described it as Tony’s Pizza in my notes.
Maybe the name had been used in the description or reviews, or there were comments about the food, involving pizza. 🤷
I never know what details may be important.
There must be a million ‘Tony’s Pizza’ out there, so it was understandable..............
Perhaps they will change focus from diner to pizza?
Especially if California’s “betters” ban indoor dining...
The land of California is cursed no more than the states that lie in the large swath of the US called "tornado alley" or the SE coast where hurricanes cause havoc every year, or the killer winters that strike the NE (all of which kill more people every year than earthquakes do). Nature is as nature does, and people heavily congregating in areas most susceptible to these this makes it worse. Of course it doesn't help in a state where the government has insane environmental and other bureaucratic policies. That's the real curse.
Perhaps ‘Tony’ went out of business because travelers were expecting pizza, not BBQ.
Maybe Jerry will do better with his cafe.
It depends if he can survive the ICE age.
