Super Bowl LIX shattered records as NFL fans tuned in or streamed the Philadelphia Eagles’ blowout win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, 40-22, in New Orleans.
FOX Sports announced on Monday that a projected average of 126 million watched the game across FOX, FOX Deportes, Tubi, Telemundo and NFL Digital properties. The game was broadcast on FOX and streamed live for free on Tubi for the first time ever. About 135.7 million viewers tuned in at the peak, which FOX Sports said was between 8 and 8:15 p.m. ET in the second quarter of the game. By that time, the Eagles were already well on their way to a big victory. Additionally, FOX Sports said 14.5 million streamed the game on Tubi and NFL Digital properties. Tubi received 13.6 million viewers alone. On Tuesday, FOX Sports said it had 127.7 million viewers across all platforms with a peak of 137.7 million viewers watching the Eagles' win. The Eagles won the game behind outstanding performances from quarterback Jalen Hurts and the defense, which was able to torment Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and shut down the offense almost completely. Hurts was named Super Bowl MVP.
"This is the ultimate team game. You can’t be great without the greatness of others. Great performance by everybody — offense, defense, special teams," head coach Nick Sirianni said. "We didn’t really ever care what anyone thought about how we won, or their opinions. All we want to do is win."
The game also featured the Chiefs’ shot at three consecutive Super Bowl titles, Kendrick Lamar's halftime performance, a Taylor Swift appearance and an historic visit from President Donald Trump, who became the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl.

I’d like to see 3 viewership figures: 1st half. Half time. Second half.
How many were watching just to see the rumored Musk commercials?
Well I tuned in because the election is over so swift was no longer an obstacle to the football or making it impossible to tell what’s going on
I also anticipate that the kneeling won’t be tolerated any more
And just to see what people aree talking about
And how about a survey, how many liked the halftime show, how many understood the lyrics of the alleged singer?
See President Trump on the Jumbotron?
Boo Taylor Swift?
So many reasons to choose from.
I think past years have had better commercials.
I watched 2 and 1/2 quarters before turning it off.
I also watched the half time show. And I didn’t even vomit.
“I watched 2 and 1/2 quarters before turning it off.”
The same, but purposely missed the half-time show. No regrets.
I was watching the Chiefs lose what seemed like a preseason game in the first half, and then I rooted for the Eagles to win the Super Bowl in the 2nd half!
Then you missed Samuel L Jackson as Uncle Sam. God Bless M*****F***ing America, you M****F***ers!
Ha! I recorded and went about the afternoon, came home at 5:30, watched all the action and was finished by 6:25 - wasn’t even dark yet...
Everyone was waiting for Elon’s Commercials. lol
Do they have the numbers of how many people changed channels during the halftime fiasco?
The singers de-humanized props resembled a group of NPC's.
Agreed. I might have watched for a while to watch Musk’s ads but never did.
...and now you know why the NFL worked with President Trump to have him appear.
Slept through it all. I was only interested in DOGE commercials. Found out that they never happened.
“Then you missed Samuel L Jackson as Uncle Sam. God Bless M*****F***ing America, you M****F***ers!”
I stand by my original statement: No regrets
Unfortunately, the President drew half that viewership, and the "Ghetto Bowls" and "Half-time rap parties" will now continue.
