Longtime ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos is said to be 'miserable' at the network after it paid President Donald Trump a $16 million settlement over his remarks about the president.
Stephanopoulos erroneously claimed on-air that the president-elect was found 'liable for rape' - rather than the correct phrasing of sexual abuse - against writer E. Jean Carroll in March.
Trump sued Stephanopoulos and the network for defamation soon after the segment aired, accusing the anchor of making the statements with 'malice' and a disregard for the truth.
As part of the settlement, Stephanopoulos was forced to issue a public apology.
He has since isolated himself at the network, insiders told the New York Post, with some suggesting he may be out of a job by the summer.
'George seems miserable,' one source said.
'He's definitely gone. He's a dead man walking for sure.'
Others, though, said Stephanopoulos could remain at the network in a lower-profile way, possibly working on film and television projects.

Years ago I said that if I ever saw the man I would punch him in the mouth for using that lying mouth to help Obama get elected.
Specifically for him correcting Obama when Obama said "My Muslim Faith."
Lying mouth George immediately corrected him with "You mean your Christian faith."
George was always a partisan Democrat bitch, and he never should have been allowed to influence so many uninformed Americans with his lies.
He deserves all the misery that life can heap on him. He has done damage to the nation, and I wish there was a way to make him pay for all his manipulation of the public.

The beauty of this is that the civil suit against Trump resulted in a $5 Million award. Even if President Trump ultimately pays this, he gets to pocket $11 Million from this media-promoted lie.
I think there have been others who the President could sue over the same issue.

If Steffy wanted to prove himself a credible voice, he would expose that rape case for the fraud it was. Starting with NY changing the Statute of Limitations just for this one case, and ending with the lack of any evidence a crime was committed. It was BS from start to finish, an astonishing example of Leftist lawfare. Sick people willing to do anything for power.
