Hands down the best National Anthem ever to be sung at the Super Bowl. Yes, this even beats out Whitney Houston's version.

It sucked!!! Chris Stapleton’s version is up there with Witney’s.

That sort of ‘hey look at me’ ruins it for me.
I thought it was VERY, VERY GOOD.
But since it’s part of something NFL..a league which makes MANY, MANY wrong decisions, and too many don’t know how to think independently or seperate their biases from fact...most here will say it sucked.

Whitney Houston made tens of millions of patriots cry, out loud and without shame.
While yesterdays singing was very smooth and beautiful, it did not have the same effect {and could not because of the attack on America}.
I didn’t know what they were selling in some of those commercials.

There is no reason not to just put Whitney’s version up every year on the jumbo tron other that she is black. Over half the honor guard and color guard are black. Everyone in the stands are waving the flag not hating her for being black. She s wearing a cross, she’s wearing red white and blue. She goes through the anthem quickly and not in a look at me tempo. Colin kaepernick, whom they haven’t yet realized is not anymore in charge, and his fellow kneeler, Travis Kelce would not approve. But they got trounced out last nightt. Their girlfriend was booed. Trump was cheered. So let’s get the anthem back
As a musician and lifelong lover of music, I enjoyed Jon Batiste’s rendition. I thought it was cool how he threw in a few New Orleans jazz riffs into the number. He knew what he was doing, even if there were some who didn’t like it.

Linda Ronstadt gets my vote! She sang it perfectly, just like you or I would sing it except she can (could) really sing!
For the non-typical approach, no one beats Jose Feliciano.
I understand Whitney did a fantastic job, but I don’t remember it.
I remember hearing how much it meant to our POW’s released from North Vietnam when they heard the National Anthem played on return to friendly territory.
