New Yorkers awoke Sunday to up to four inches of snow — with even more fallings in some parts of the tristate area.

And even more could be on the way this coming week.

Following a night of heavy snow, sleet and ice, New York City’s Central Park recorded 3.1 inches of snow by Sunday morning.

That will likely stick around well into this coming week, as temperatures are set to remain chilly.

Four inches of snow? Oh, the humanity!! Meanwhile, here in wimpy Seattle, schools shut down three days this week over a grand total of about four inches of snow. They closed last Monday over 1/2 inch that melted before noon.

Did the weather channel give a name to this snow storm? Maybe it wasn’t a major blizzard, so not deserving of a title?

An Arctic Blast....at least...

90 million people in the US are now living in fear of snow and cold in winter.

Can’t be.

Gore said that by the early 2000s, snow would be something NYers only told their kids about.

3.1 inches is heavy snow? That would be a dusting where I live.

This was the most over-hyped snow storm I can remember.

Here in northern CT they forecast 6-10 inches overnight (a decent storm).

I measured this morning.

One inch.

Snow, in NY, in January?

NY must be in a different time zone from North Carolina. It's February down here.

Wanna hear crazy? We had a record breaking 7 inches of snow a couple weeks ago in south Alabama and single digit temps. Right now my thermometer says it’s 85 degrees.

Instead of worrying about how many inches to worry about, why don’t they fix up those intersections that have inadequate sewer drainage? The eastern and western sides of Broadway and 98th Street were impassible lakes this morning.
