Donald Trump was suing the network for $10 billion, stating that 60 Minutes edited the video to make Harris look and sound better. Upon having time to review the raw footage, Trump amended his lawsuit to $20 billion, thus doubling the original amount.

They must have made an insulting offer. More winning! Go Trump!
So, first CNN, then ABC the View and now CBS. all are suffering tens of millions of damages from judgements.
Who will get a zillion from Comcast? When? Right away I hope
Discovery on this case would permanently bury the network.
All of their internal TDS communications would be splattered all over X for everyone to see.
Reminder, don’t forget the recent victory over Zuckerface recently for $25,000,000!
Even if Trump doesn’t prevail CBS now has a very big risk factor along with the very real legal costs as a consequence of this in-kind campaign contribution. Will this deter CBS and others in the future?
Good sign! That means that Trump’s people are taking this one SERIOUSLY, rather than giving CBS an ABC News style slap on the risk.
CBS best take this lawsuit seriously, as they’re playing with fire here, since the suit is in TEXAS, so if it goes to a jury, and no one is wearing a mask on the jury, CBS may just no longer exist.
We now see how Musk purchasing Twitter X was a crucial first step in the exposure of the swamp.
The husband is saying the same thing...there is something much bigger afoot. I hope we get to see it, and I thank them for their donation to PDJT’s library 😀
So proud of Trump for pressing it... a typical Republican would have been playing nicey-nice long before this point...
Finish them off for their connivance, if they don't like his terms.
Adios, finished, goodbye. Thanks for the money though.
No I can’t feel it. The dollar numbers you hear attached to lawsuits are just random numbers the lawyers pull out of the air. This statement supposedly doubling the lawsuit means exactly nothing .I reckon this case as having no value as the editing of the interview did not actually result in him losing the election. He has no damages
That said, people around here get all foot with the phrase “Discovery will be interesting.” In this case that’s actually correct. I predict the case will settle for some low multiple of $5 million
Asymmetrical warfare against the blob? Sue me here (judges issuing illegal decisions against executive branch actions), I’ll hit back somewhere else. It’s all one blob - Democrats, NGOs, old media, judges - a strike against one is a strike against all. Inflict pain on the enemy where they’re weak. Trump has CBS/60 minutes down - now curb stomp them.
The mass media is still slandering former J6 political prisoners calling them “rioters”.
There should be a class action lawsuit against every media outlet that goes there.
The ABC and the CBS case is very different.
The ABC case was personal.
It was one person who attacked Trump in a way that his legal team advised him not to.
CBS was institutional.
It took many folk and many decision makers to do the dirty deed.
What is more, there was a cover-up and there is still a cover-up with still no public apology nor heads rolling.
I have read Shari Redstone who has a lot invested in CBS/Paramount wants a deal.
But CBS is run like the gubmint.
It is not run as a public corporation owing to stockholders but run for the benefit of those who run the company.
Just like the gubmint is not run for the benefit of citizens who are taxpayers and voters.
There is much demolition required at CBS and Trump is just the guy to start the process.
Exactly—the left started the lawfare gambit.
We need to cram it down their throats.
When the jurors see how deep SeeBS was into insurrectionist efforts to overthrough the Trump Administration, they'll quadruple the $20B.
Have a nice day DNCBS.
