Putin is talking about Internews. A USAID recipient of taxpayer dollars that pumps a half billion dollars into fake news outlets around the world.

So USAID (aka CIA) is using our tax dollars to pay foreign news outlets to preach propaganda.

In other words we are paying them to propagandize us.
The Zeepers have often been accused of working for Ukraine. Now I wonder if they aren’t paid by USAID. If so, they would then be useful idiots of the CIA and too ignorant to actually know it.

I’m not a media expert, although anyone interested in the truth really does need to become well informed regards the media today because of all the censorship, extreme political bias, and state sponsored propaganda. There is no semblance of professionalism in the MSM and flat out lies are propagated as facts if it fits the narrative.
That said, it really helps regards the level of state influence on the message if a Democrat is in office. The big media conglomerates 5 out of 6 of them are owned or have senior leadership that are openly Democrat. Roughly 85% of all journalists vote Democrat. In that world, when you have a Democrat in office, the cooperation between government and the MSM works far better.
The so called “watchdog” function of the MSM does not work when a Democrat is in office and you can see that with Biden and covid, Biden and Ukraine, Biden and his mental decline, Biden and J6 (the harsh sentencing, the shooting of Babbit, interviewing of people that didn’t enter the capital...). Given the exact same situation but Trump in office, do you really think you would have had the sympathetic media or even just silence on these topics?
Things are changing now. Americans are no longer getting their news from "Legacy Media".
Instead they're getting their news from TikTok and X. It's one of the major reasons why Trump won in 2024.
When Putin said the “little grey men” actually run the US and that all the media in Europe can be traced back to US owners/financers and when he said the NGOs were used to gain political influence and launch color revolutions.......he was 100% correct about all of that.
Hate him all you want. He knew just how corrupt the Deep State was and how much influence/control it had years and years ago.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but all media, including the non-traditional media, is infected and used for propaganda because they are bought and paid for just like the traditional media.

I posted the article on 5/11/2024 way before the election. And it's relevant to what we're talking about today on 2/8/2025.
Such a relief to be red pilled by freedom-loving Putin, whose nation of course has always supported the sovereignty and independence of other nations, and never spent a dime on regime-toppling, media propaganda, or bizarre adventures such as inventing non-existent Arab ethnicities out of whole cloth to sow discord with their enemies.
