Kyiv says 'we are very near to really ending this war by a just and lasting peace' as Ukrainians react with horror to 'leaked report' on pro-Russian website claiming to reveal Trump's plan for a ceasefire by Easter

A top Ukrainian official has claimed that the country is 'very near to really ending this war by a just and lasting peace', after Ukrainians were left horrified by a report on a pro-Russian site claiming that Trump might force Kyiv into a unfavourable ceasefire by Easter.

Andriy Yermak, the Ukrainian president's chief of staff who is due to attend the Munich Security Conference next week where Trump is expected to officially unveil his plan for peace in Ukraine, made the comments to the Associated Press.

He said: 'It's necessary that the leaders and the experts in politics who will be in Munich realise that this is momentum.

'That we are very near to really ending this war by a just and lasting peace, but (it's) necessary to be together- Not to give Russia an opportunity to divide the world, to divide partners.'

Yermak added that it was imperative that Ukraine was front and centre of any ceasefire plans: 'I think it's important that we go through these consultations and negotiations before the (Trump) administration has any plans.

'Our position is that it's impossible to have, and will be a big mistake to have, any plans without participation by Ukraine in preparing this plan.'

It comes amid growing horror at reports of a leaked plan for Ukraine that would see Trump try to force Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to agree to a ceasefire with Russia by Easter.

The unconfirmed plans, reported by Ukrainian outlet Strana, which has been described as pro-Russian, are said to have been doing the rounds in 'political and diplomatic circles' in Ukraine, and will include a ceasefire by April 20 that would freeze Russia's steady advance, a ban on Ukraine from joining NATO, and a demand for Kyiv to accept Russian sovereignty on annexed land.

Bingo! And the war ends.

Remember all those times I foresaw Trump’s perfect 30 second phone call to end the war? You should, I’ve explained it to you over and over.

“Hello, Zelensky, this is President Trump. You’ve received your last dime and bullet from the American tax payer. I will ensure the Russians negotiate in good faith. Your dumb ass should have stuck to Minsk. Goodbye!”

Bingo! And the war ends.

People who still want to go along with this corruption sure is going to make it easy for God to get rid of them, when the time comes.

So if this leaked information and graphics are correct, and TRUMPS plan is. accepted, why do European and British Troops need to patrol the borders as it's an American plan why aren't American Troops patrolling the border. The EU will be asked to fund the rebuilding of the UKRAINIAN cities and towns. Now remember Starmer we are not in the EU so we must not fund it. Can't even fund our own NHS, pensioners winter allowance,or Waspies.

Interesting questions from a Englishman, who notes that Britain is not part of the EU today, and is observing the financial mess in his own country, all the while the elite focus elsewhere.

One observes our own United States is mired in over $ 35.5 trillion of still-rising debt, and a similar sentiment is easily found among Americans.

Whether in the UK or in our nation, someone gets "horrified by a report...."

Trump wants to end the war by negotiation. He wants to allow Putin to save face, which means Ukraine will not join NATO, but it isn’t in it now. That doesn’t preclude Ukraine joining Poland in another alliance backed by the U.S. A cease fire would mean both Russian control over occupied Ukrainian territory and Ukrainian control over occupied Russian territory in Kursk pending negotiations on a final solution.

Your graphic was most amusing. It is time and past time to "picture" Samantha Power, the Obama-Biden operative.

Note that as revelations of the corruption in USAID, she attempted a tour of sympathetic media to stem the tide. And fails.

Great graphic.

If you think that Russia needs to save face in Ukraine or that Russia will accept some weasel worded truce which allows Ukraine to continue to be a threat to them, you haven’t been paying attention.

Once we get over the fantasy of a ceasefire, negotiations can begin in earnest. How many times do the Russians have to tell the corrupt US this?

Drat! I misquoted Trump’s perfect 30 second phone call. Right after the “last dime and bullet” Trump is heard to sternly say, “STFU and listen, a$$hole!”.

Odd isn’t it how MSNBS had running numbers in Afghanistan, Iraq, Gaza,Covid and nothing in Syria, and Ukraine.
Well, not so odd but the numbers of dead are supposed to be hundreds of thousands.

Sigh. The press hates Trump and MAGA so much that they want Ukraine to keep sending young men to be killed in a war they won't win.

I thought you Zeepers told us that every Ukrainian was prepared to fight to regain their homeland until the last man fell.

What has changed now exactly?

This was within Zelenskyy's power to prevent the invasion by making an agreement with Putin to remain neutral & not join NATO. Biden had the same option to exercise as well.

But no, you fools decided that it was in Ukraine's best interest to take on Russia with a kinetic warfare response.

You now own the results by virtue of your stupidity.

Andriy Yermak, the Ukrainian president’s chief of staff who is due to attend the Munich Security Conference next week where Trump is expected to officially unveil his plan for peace in Ukraine, made the comments to the Associated Press.

Yermak heads the unelected Presidential Commission (a Russian government invention) and actually runs the country with Zelenski being the political figurehead.

Yermak’s father is Colonel or Major in Central Intelligence of the RGF. The father lives in Russia where he and his son have a business with a well-connected Russian businessman who is an advisor to a Senator (upper chamber) of the Russian Parliament. He is well connected to the Russian political ruling class and specifically, close to Putin’s inner circle.

Yermak Heads of the Presidential Administration and suspected KGB/FSB operative, Andrei Yermak ordered the mines separating Crimea removed 2 weeks before the Russians attacked from their Marine base in Crimea.

Congresswoman Victoria Spartz (R) laid out six major allegations against Yermak:
1. Leaking information to Belarus and ultimately to Russia on Ukraine’s operation to capture the “Wagner Group”, which led to its failure;

2. Mismanaging failed peace negotiations with Russia before the war;

3. Assuring Ukrainian leadership that no attack by Russia was going to happen this February, contrary to western intelligence, to prevent Ukraine from properly preparing for the war;

4. Sabotaging Kherson and giving it to the Russians to set up the “Azov” battalion tragedy;

5. Delaying purchases of urgent military equipment through the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and demanding unreasonable or even illegal terms;

6. Purposely delaying through Deputy Oleg Tatarov the appointment of an independent anti-corruption prosecutor.
