Russia has got so desperate it has had to go back to one of the most old-fashioned ways to carry bullets and guns during a war.

The Soviet army had to start using donkeys and horses to carry ammunition in Ukraine – something that hasn’t been done for over a century. Military blogger Kirill Fedorov wrote on his Telegram channel that Putin and his soldiers have started to send the animals to the front line.

He said that an official government transport list says these animals include horses, camels and deer.

He wrote: ‘The fighters were given a donkey to deliver ammunition to the front line. What did you expect? Cars are in short supply these day.’

Ukrainian official Anton Gerashchenko also shared a social media video showing Russian soldiers riding donkeys.

A soldier’s candid video commentary reveals the bizarre move and said: ‘I heard it, then saw it, and was

I got a mule, her name is Vlad, Three full years on the Ukraine pad.
She’s a good old worker though she gets you mad, Three full years on the Ukraine pad.
We’ve hauled some small carts in our day, Filled with vodka, borscht, and hay/
And ev’ry inch of the way we know, From Ol’ Kiev to Ol’ Moscow

Low drone, ev’rybody down, Low drone, to bits we will be blown
You can always meet your maker, and your dad and grand dad
If you’ve ever navigated on the Ukraine pad.

No—it means the ground is poor and perhaps muddy. Vehicles get stuck in the mud. Mules do not get stuck.

“”””when the americans went into space, we spent millions developing the “space pen” (I even have one somewhere)
the russians said we used pencils and they worked perfectly fine.””””

Fake story, pencils were never a good or safe choice and the US and USSR both abandoned them when Fisher invented the space pen.

“Paul C. Fisher and his company, the Fisher Pen Company, reportedly invested $1 million to create what is now commonly known as the space pen. None of this investment money came from NASA’s coffers—the agency only became involved after the pen was dreamed into existence.”

“According to an Associated Press report from February 1968, NASA ordered 400 of Fisher’s antigravity ballpoint pens for the Apollo program. A year later, the Soviet Union ordered 100 pens and 1,000 ink cartridges to use on their Soyuz space missions, said the United Press International. The AP later noted that both NASA and the Soviet space agency received the same 40 percent discount for buying their pens in bulk. They both paid $2.39 per pen instead of $3.98.”

“Since the late 1960s American astronauts and Russian cosmonauts have used Fisher’s pens. In fact, Fisher has created a whole line of space pens. A newer pen, called the Shuttle Pen, was used on NASA’s space shuttles and on the Russian space station, Mir.”

“”””If Russians are so backward—how come they are winning?””””

Good Lord man, has 3 years of this debacle made everyone forget that this is the world’s second strongest military invading a country on their own border, and you wonder why they are winning?

I think a ceasefire can be reached at this point.

But Zelensky will have to announce that his country is not going to join NATO.

It’s winter there, the ground is frozen! This goes back to WWII when the Germans were using carts because they were running out of fuel.

So that’s why you post Vietnamese troops using bicycles? Vietnam didn’t have access to trucks until China and Russia provided them with these vehicles and fuel. Vietnamese at the beginning of U.S. involvement was a Stone Age era country.

donkeys and horses to carry ammunition in Ukraine – something that hasn’t been done for over a century.

The US Army was using mules and donkeys everywhere from Italy to New Guinea during WWII less than a century ago. Must have been because we were a poor backwards society on the brink of collapse.

I keep watching the Military Summary Channel 2/day updates on Youtube, waiting to see when the Ukrainian Army, now declared to be numerically larger than the Russian force opposing it, equipped with the latest Storm Shadows and Abrams and Leopards and Strykers and Bradleys and F-16's, begins making headway against the orcs with their shovels and donkeys. Because it isn't happening.

Putin and his soldiers have started to send the animals to the front line.

Smart move, not only are they ideally suited to transit difficult terrain and damaged roads, they operate loyally with less human supervision, and are voice activated.

Additionally they are good company, every pack animal on the planet is smarter and better natured than Uke Nazis and Zeepers.

Finally, they can save ammunition when Russians are forced to try and execute Uke Nazi War Criminals in the field, all they need is a rope, tree and Donkey.
