Ukraine's military reportedly launched a new offensive in Russia's Kursk region, according to multiple Russian military bloggers on Thursday.
Kyiv officials have not yet confirmed a new major operation in the region as of press time.

I support Ukraine, but this is just stupid. Dont invade worthless crap land and give the Russians the coast. Hit the Russians where it hurts, take out all their oil infrastructure and they will crumble.

It’s possible Trump has given Ukraine more equipment on the down low. Biden used to have these splashy news conferences about how much money and equipment he was releasing from an aid budget approved a while back, pump it up like it was new money. Then Ukraine would wait for months and never see any of it. Uncle Sam has a ton of pre-positioned equipment and ammo in Europe that can simply be shipped across the border. Biden simply chose not to. Perhaps Trump has turned that spigot on.

The Ukrainians cannot stop themselves from trying for victory in spit of the huge losses. The Ukrainians have succumbed to a Hitler bunker mentality.

Because Trump is not an idiot. Trump understands power politics very well.
Who does Trump trust more? Zelensky or the CIA?
Who does Trump have more control over? Zelenski or the CIA?
These are not trick or trivial questions.
Trump will, eventually, gain control of the CIA. He may not have control of the CIA yet, or of the FBI, yet.
Trump very much wants to stop the war in the Ukraine.
He is not willing to allow the Russians to take all of the Ukraine.
Trump cannot do much about US corruption which has already occurred. He can affect what is going on in the Russian-Ukraine war at present.
If you're suggesting that DJT will insist that Russia leave the four eastern Ukrainian oblasts that voted to become part of Russia, you'd be wrong.

Biden’s objective wasn’t to give Ukraine sufficient military support. Biden’s objective was to string out the aid in as many installments as possible so he and his cronies could skim off of each one. It will soon be exposed how much was skimmed by the right people. When Trump makes a move, he plays to win, and Trump doesn’t want Ukraine to lose the war on his watch. Trump has said he can negotiate an end to the war, and upping the supplies to Ukraine is his big bargaining chip.

Ukraine has no chance of holding any territory inside of Russia.
The peace proposals being floated, one you just posted, concede all annexed territory to Russia. That's where the negotiations are BEGINNING.
So, sending more troops to die in Kursk is sheer insanity.
