New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy’s political foes are urging ICE agents to “pay him a visit” and even calling for his potential impeachment after he bizarrely suggested he was harboring an illegal migrant in his home.
“Phil Murphy just implicated himself in a crime! Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time. It’s time for [ICE] to pay him a visit. When I’m Governor, everyone is getting deported,” wrote Republican former Englewood Cliffs Mayor Mario Kranjac — who’s mounting a run for governor in November — on X on Monday night.
Murphy jammed his foot squarely into his mouth during an on-stage interview at Montclair State University with liberal organization Blue Wave New Jersey on Saturday, suggesting he and his wife were housing a woman whose immigration status would run afoul of President Trump’s new enforcement regime.
“I don’t want to get into too much detail, but there’s someone in our broader universe whose immigration status is not yet at the point that they are trying to get it to, and we said, ‘You know what, let’s have her live at our house above our garage,’” boasted the Dem gov, who can’t run again because of term limits.
He punctuated his gaffe by attempting to play tough-guy, taunting immigration officials by adding, “And good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her.”
Murphy’s camp Monday attempted to walk back his clumsy remarks, insisting, “No one’s ever lived in the home” under the circumstances the governor described, according to a representative.
The rep declined to elaborate on why Murphy, 67, who lives with his family in a massive gated compound in the wealthy suburb of Middletown, would dare the Trump administration to go after the woman at his home if she wasn’t there.

Damn. New sheriff in town and all that.
Lefty Democrat Gov Murphy jammed his foot squarely into his mouth suggesting he was hiding an immigrant b/c she runs afoul of President Trump’s new enforcement regime. “I don’t want to get into too much detail,” then mentioned he and his wife said, ‘You know what, let’s have her live at our house above our garage,’” boasted the tolerant and compassionate Democrat about breaking the law.

Tom Homan who is enforcing border control, called Murphy’s remarks “foolish” for acknowledging he was breaking the law.
Appearing on Fox News, Homan stated, “It’s a foolish thing what he said. I got note of it, I won’t let it go, and will look into it.”
Homan further stated that he would pursue legal action if Murphy is intentionally harboring and hiding an illegal alien. “So now he says he’s bluffing. If he’s not, we’ll deal with that.”

Mr. Rogers shoes. Only red, like good commie.
If that’s all... “and we said, ‘Let’s...’ “ he’s only admitted to an offhand suggestion.
Need evidence, witnesses.
“Her”? My suspicious side thinks this “her” is not a 55 year old, 220 pound housekeeper.
Hey, Hey, Hos Hos,
Philly Murphy has got to go.
