A Colorado woman pulled a page from an Alfred Hitchcock script, by killing her boyfriend for making fun of her with the help of a random man she’d met moments before on a bus, prosecutors said.
Ashley White, 29, was found guilty of Cody DeLisa’s second-degree murder after a three-week criminal trial.
Authorities said the couple’s volatile relationship took an evil turn on Aug. 13, 2020, after White had a job interview in Denver.
White returned home on a bus, and texted DeLisa to tell him about the interview.
Investigators learned that, well before the murder, White tried to drown and burn DeLisa’s cat.
After they shot him, White and the stranger left with DeLisa’s wallet.

Wait, is that dark chest hair showing at the neckline?
“”””“Three years after the shooting, a woman identified as the girlfriend of Michael Stratton contacted” prosecutors, “stating she believed her boyfriend was the man responsible for killing DeLisa.”””””
I think a lot of people would be surprised to learn how casual some killers are about discussing their murders.
There are countless friends, and casual friends and family members all over the nation who know things that they keep to themselves, it isn’t like the movies at all.

A Perfect Murder:Strangers On A Train
Movie trailer
she seems nice.
Still a better love story than Twilight.
The article really strains to make comparisons to “Strangers on a Train”. Farley Grainger didn’t really agree to the murder, he laughed it off, but Bruno took him literally. Also, there was supposed to be an exchange of murders, and Scott was happy just to get a thrill and score with the chick, from the sounds of it.
Completely different stories.
I prefer “Throw Mama From the Train”.
She’s definitely in the “Danger Zone” on the Hot/Crazy Matrix.
I never saw Strangers On a Train but have heard references to it about 3 times on detective procedural shows.
“The story concerns two strangers who meet on a train, one of whom is a psychopath who suggests that they “exchange” murders so that neither will be caught.”
A little similar in a vague way. Maybe.

There is a strangely excessive blurring of the chin and Adam’s apple portion of the photo.
Also, a welfare check was done just one day after his murder? Sounds like some family member or neighbor had reason to believe the guy was in peril to be checking on him every day.
Bad tat, I think. But there is a curious blurring of the chin and Adam’s apple.
Humans are starting to worry me.
Tats.................
Holy cow, you’re right. I was expecting a 100 on the crazy scale and a zero on the hot scale. Instead, she’s bordering on not guilty.
This should be first degree
Premeditated and intentional, plus conspiracy
Frigging prosecutors go soft on women.
More info and the other killer’s mugshot here:
Why was she only charged with second degree murder and robbery? It sounds more like first degree.
And why was he declared unfit to stand trial for two murders?
Nothing in this case makes sense.
We need an opinion from Laz.
Our posts were 18 seconds apart. Yes, her charge should have been first degree, but at least she was charged and sentenced.
The man has not been charged for this murder, and he was declared unfit to stand trial for another murder.
