First question: what was it? Airplane? Or something else…
Probably hit a drone.
From the doorbell video, it looked to me like it was on fire while it was falling.
Could have sucked a flock of geese.
It’s not Trump’s style to leave stuff hanging. We’ll know once they have a good idea what went wrong.
After that, the aircraft continued to accelerate and climb.
Except for silence from the cockpit, the climb and speed appear to be normal.
The Lear Jet is designed to go fast and at high altitude.
At or very soon after 23:06:52 Zulu (247 mph), the jet either lost power, or somebody reduced power, or something reduced power.
Could be, the left engine was not running great, even before 23:06:52 Zulu, and then it "choked?"
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum issued a statement following...fatal plane crash:
“I regret the death of six Mexicans in the plane crash in Philadelphia, United States,” she wrote on social platform X, according to translation. “The consular authorities are in permanent contact with the families; I have asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support them in whatever way is required.”
Engine explosion, perhaps a fan broke as it was pushed to high speed on takeoff, throwing pieces all over the plane and igniting the oxygen bottles. The plane went down really quick and fast, looks like maybe one engine was still working.
I’m going with sudden catastrophic engine failure as the cause.
Alex Jones wonders?
A sane and reasonable scenario. Since it seems the Lear may have stalled, I wonder if there was very heavy medical equipment in the rear, causing it to stall, and being only a minute up, no chance to recover.
Horrible situation.
Not to mention that the Lear 55 is a gas tank with wings.
One little spark in the wrong place with all those leaking Oxygen tanks.
KABOOM !
