Hamas has been involved in a prolonged firefight with bandits trying to loot aid trucks, as the terror organisation struggles to assert control over Gaza. | The incident, which took place near Rafah, began after a large aid-delivering vehicle broke down in open ground and was set upon by armed robbers. | Another stopped nearby, and graphic footage shows the bandits then turning their weapons on a force of Hamas fighters, who style themselves as police, as they approached.

It comes as the terror group faces the challenge of providing basic security and services to the people of Gaza, since last Sunday's ceasefire saw large withdrawals of Israeli troops which has enabled them to operate in the open.

The Big Lie. Hamas typically loots aid supplies and uses the people as human shields, while the people cheer them on. They're all f***ed up. Send them all back to Jordan whether they want them or not. It's their problem which they just forced onto someone else anyway.

The article was a little low on real facts. The other armed robbers could have been PJI or al-qaida or other jihadi group looking for supplies rather than gust a criminal group. It could be the local vigilante squad sick of Hamas taking supplies. I would assume infighting could be a reason.
