The danger of being so cheap. Probably wasn’t a realistic price.

Do these idiots not know how to do a chargeback with their credit card issuer? "Franklin has tried to get his money back from AliExpress and tried to get a chargeback from his bank without any success. He says he only spent around $40 but wants others to take a lesson from his story."

I just bought a vacuum sealer off Aliexpress for 19 bucks. Works great. Similar model was in Costco for $119.
You do have to know what is a real company and who is a scam. Look for a 99% or above rating and reviews should be from other countries as well.

AliExpress is fine - but make sure you are dealing with a verified supplier. The site is not as quick at removing fraudsters as Amazon or eBay might be.

I remember when I was a kid my dad ordered a bologna sandwich and after he had bitten into it it turned out it was the label picture that came with the package of bologna.

NEVER USE PARTSGEEK.COM!
For auto parts.
They are just as much of a scam as AliExpress.
I ordered front and back brake pads for my car. They just sent seven random brake pads, and no boxes they would have come from. Only some of which would have actually fit my car.
They never responded to my calls and emails and never got a refund or correct parts.

How stupid do you have to be to think you would get a drill and a pressure washer for 40 bucks?

If the consumer uses a Debit Card to make their purchase, that purchase cannot be voided by the consumer. Different than with a Credit Card. Some consumers would choose a debit card to buy with, so they don’t have to worry about maintaining a credit account minimum balance, or worry about accumulated debts coming due.

Yes, AliExpress is the most deceptive and misleading of the major online retailer. Do not use a smartphone and choose free shipping (left) and hit the arrows above for lowest prices first). I have bought many things from AliExpress (such as
12 pairs of V brake pads for bikes (free [labor, part at cost, rounded] basic repair ministry, by the grace of God), since they are sometimes cheaper than Temu,
which in turn is cheaper than Ebay (which is declining due to Temu, but better for some items), while increased competition are resulted in some lower prices on Amazon,
which is good for items as Canon Image Class D570 Monochrome Laser Printer with Scanner and Copier for 129.99, and a better shopping site than Walmart, but which is cheaper than the others for some items (like
Bicycle Inner Tube, 26", 4 Pack for $13.00)
Due to the choices of past Presidents, many items as these are no longer made in the US, and or cannot be made competitively. Thank God I can get such.

Damn thing cost $100,000 cash and then they moved me to Omaha, Nebraska.
