I used to hear this every so often as a Fire Inspector. My reply was, “Yes sir/ma’am. Here’s my supervisor’s business card with his phone number—He’d love to hear from you. You can discuss it with him after the inspection.”

My favorite, "Do you know who I am?" occurred at an airport departure gate. The gate agent picked up the PA mike and asked if anyone knows who this man is. Suitable public embarrassment for a self-entitled jackass.
Next best was the teen age girl pulled over for a traffic violation. As the cop approaches the driver's door, she asks, "Do you know who my father is?". The cop replies, "Why? Didn't your mother tell you?
