President Trump fumed on Sunday after Colombia turned back two US military flights carrying deported migrants — vowing to impose sanctions and an “emergency 25% tariff” on the South American country.
“I was just informed that two repatriation flights from the United States, with a large number of Illegal Criminals, were not allowed to land in Colombia,” Trump wrote Sunday.

BTW for those who don’t read Spanish, in the first two paragraphs of his letter Petro is trying to expand the repatriation matter into a regional problem for Trump by dragging in the CELAC. So there’s even more to this than some are seeing.

Transport planes are good enough for our soldiers.
They’re good enough for gangsters and drug runners.

He “offered” his plane so are we going to have to rely on the willingness and timing of Petro to remove illegal criminals from our country? If we do he will just make excuses for the plane not being available for one reason or another.
He’s playing games. Read his letter; he commits to nothing in particular or specific. He’s dragging his feet and trying to drag CELAC into the deportation issue to make it a regional problem for Trump.
Petro is a Marxist. Believe nothing he says.
No commercial airline wants to transport criminals.
The pipeline to removing these criminals needs to flow smoothly. If it clogs we have to house them somewhere until they are removed. If it backs up long enough we have to start letting some of them go because there is no more jail space for them.

Musk can always buy Spirit Airlines and use those planes to repatriate illegals back to their home countries.
If only Trump had a shuttle to repatriate illegals.
