Posted on 01/23/2025 9:56:19 PM PST by FroggyTheGremlim

Hiya kids! Hiya, Hiya!

Good Morning Crypto-FReepers.

I see some of the same old faces out there.

But that's OK - I like you anyway.

Here's today's quote!

It's a quote about EFTONH, sort of!

First suggested by UCLT ZONFTMNPJ.

I'm expecting lots of ZKDDNH clues!

Have fun!!!

Ha Ha Ha!

I'll be good - I will, (like heck) I will!

Ha ha ha.

ELBO VCCA FZ OLN EBHDOL CR ZKDDNH, EFOLCKO OLN PCIA CR EFTONH OC VFXN FO ZENNOTNZZ? - UCLT ZONFTMNPJ

Where'd I put my magic twanger? Oh, here it is - - -boinng!

You can find this fun quotation puzzle, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.

I challenge us with the best ones out there.

The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).

Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you'll be solving them all within a few days.

If you're stumped, take a break and return to it. PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out. You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today's Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!

I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal's Helper below. You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.

One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don't put the actual words of the quote in the clue.

Plenty.

Many people live in a world without that contrast.

Without the hurricanes. Or the humidity. Eastern North Carolina. My mother’s aunt and uncle used to summer on Cape Cod and winter in Fort Lauderdale.

I live in Eastern NC half of the time and FL the other half. I spend all day every day during the warmer months chasing fish up and down the Atlantic Coast. Or the Gulf of America. It’s all good.

WOW.
30 seconds. I took a wild guess at the author’s first name, and everything fell in place.
