Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde, whose direct appeal to President Trump for mercy on behalf of immigrants and the L.G.B.T.Q. community made headlines on Tuesday, was also publicly critical of Mr. Trump during his first term.

The irony...
So I’d like to know who picked her in the first place to speak at the prayer breakfast?
Edgar was her given name, obviously. 😸
An annoying lesbo masquerading as a “Bishop”.
1 Corinthians 14:34-36
King James Version
34) Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
35) And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
36) What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?
Probably someone associated with the inaugural committee, like Amy Klobuchar.
The Trump Team should have been well aware this would happen. They need to do better to steer him away from these types of sitations. BISHOP, she is not. She got what she wanted, PUBLICITY.
It’s tragic that not one person stood up to rebuke her.
Good question.
Folks around here are already getting complacent and overconfident.
Our enemies remain hard at work.
She didn’t make a ‘plea’, she lectured the president and by extension those who voted for him. She’s just another pious and arrogant liberal.
Her cohort, the female Episcopal Bishop of Baltimore, recently was sprung from prison after three years for a DUI killing of a bicyclist and leaving the scene of an accident.
An exorcism, but the host was not yet cleared from the building.
“Our enemies remain hard at work.”

How true. The more things Trump does the more he produces for his voters the more the Left hates him.
Every Trump success intensifies their motivation to stop him. These are intensely emotion driven people we’re dealing with.
It’s mystifying why Episcopals are so venerated. It just Church of England without the king. They are in communion with the Anglican church.
Not much American about them that we should have a president endure her assaholic lecture.
Being somewhat familiar with the Episcopal Church in the Twin Cities (my wife is a member and I’m Catholic and we sometimes attend a different Episcopal Church in the Twin Cities), the church Budde came from is waaaay out in left field - even by Episcopal standards.
It, to some degree, markets itself as a gay church. It’s in a very liberal upscale area of Minneapolis. Very white, very liberal and very NIMBY. You won’t find homeless encampments in the parks near them nor would you find blue collar working people or blacks.
My sister in law heard about Budde and told my wife “Well, that doesn’t surprise me at all. She enjoys being the center of attention”.
She’s apparently married to a man and has two kids.
She is married to a man and has children, so is not a lesbo.
But as a woman, she has no business being a Bishop. And she is a long-term Trump hater.
“She wrote that Mr. Trump had “used sacred symbols” while “espousing positions antithetical to the Bible.””
Say the women Bishop in open defiance to the words of Jesus, St Paul, and half the Bible.
“My sister in law heard about Budde and told my wife “Well, that doesn’t surprise me at all. She enjoys being the center of attention”.”
*************
Her display of disrespect bordered on the rabid. She gave a lecture that was disguised as a prayer service.
“Who is Mariann Edgar Budde?”
A heretic. That’s all I need to know about the woman.
