Actress Halle Berry has taken a heartfelt step to support those affected by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
Berry announced on Instagram on Jan. 9 that she was donating her entire wardrobe to those in need.
The Oscar-winner is collaborating with fellow actress Sharon Stone and +COOP, a home goods store in Beverly Hills, to promote donation efforts, collecting gently used clothing for men, women and children displaced by the fires.
+COOP was founded by real estate agent Jenna Cooper and turned its shop into up a temporary fire relief donation collection center amid the deadly wildfires.

So she’s just going to go around naked?!
That’s probably several hundred thousand dollars worth of dresses, perhaps millions. That’s pretty decent, I think.
An excellent excuse to spring for a new wardrobe. Still, a nice gesture.
Nah. She’s going SHOPPING! 🛍 👠🌆🎁💃
Used clothing? How can you put a price on that and how will it be monetized? Nonsense, better shopping at salvation army or good will. Nothing but “look at me and make me feel good crap.”
Good on her.
I was lamenting how she votes, probably leans left but while googling whether she endorsed Kamala Harris I instead came across her recent visit to West Virginia of all places. Berry accompanied Senator Shelley Moore Capito (Republican) in West Virginia to advocate for menopause care and research. Nice!
“The truth is if I never had to make another movie or television show again and I could just advocate for women’s health and menopause specifically, I would do that,” Berry said. “This is what wakes me up in the morning and keeps me up at night. I am determined, with the help of Senator Capito and all the great people in Washington, to really make a difference and change the lives of women. I can’t think of a better thing to do.”
It’s also a tax writeoff, but I can allow that if it means some good comes from it.
Canadian tax write off? What a joke.
More classy than the Clintons, who donated underwear, then claimed it for a tax deduction.
I believe it’s a tax write for actors, because clothing is a work related expense.
Whatever you buy for your line of business, and most actors are considered to be business people, gets written off.

But where will they go to the bathroom? Where will they cook their food?
Ed didn’t think he could fit into the Cat Girl Costume, but he did.
Wait for the ‘charitable deduction’ on her tax return.
Like Hillary’s dirty underware.
This works better

In the early years of our marriage My
wife worked at Seattle Goodwill so I have
a deep appreciation for what they do.
And what she did.
As time moved on, we prospered and she went on to different things.
We still have a soft spot in our hearts for Goodwill
industries.
Who wants to wear a bunch of used charred clothing that smells like smoke?
Soon to be sold on eBay or Posh Mart etc. for a huge premium.
ROTFL! I remember that.
I dress almost completely from Thrift Stores.
Filson, Pendleton, Orvis, etc.
