The tech world is bracing for the release of Ph.D.-level artificial intelligence that will be able to do complex human tasks, Axios reported Sunday. The superagent breakthrough could happen in a matter of weeks and speculation is that it could be coming from OpenAI, according to the report. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is set to brief U.S. government officials on Jan. 30, Axios reported, adding that OpenAI staffers are “jazzed and spooked” by their progress. The report comes days after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that AI could replace mid-level software engineers as early as this year.

I don't believe the tech giants when they sell me on the idea of an easier and wealthier life. They will cut me out completely when they can, just like they will do to everybody else.

That’s the point. ‘They’ want to replace the forgotten man with the foreign man. If not the foreign man, the robotic man. The onslaught of tech on the commons is just getting warmed up.

They told laid off factory workers to learn to code.
When they learned to code they were replaced with H1B workers.
Then when AI learned to code it replaced the H1B workers.
Then AI was used to control robots to replace manual labor jobs.
Question is if AI is so productive who will buy the products since everyone is out of a job?

I can tell you this AI will end up being the anti-Christ.

We used to call that Piled Higher and Deeper. I’ve met a LOT of PhDs who didn’t have enough sense to come in out of the rain.

Wouldn’t be a surprise. A being so intelligent that it can perform miracles and also made of the earth, via silicon.

It’s what it represents. If the AI can gather and organize information at the level that a typical PhD can, how far is it from exercising independent though with the intent of improving itself further.

From legalized plagiarism to independent thought? Highly unlikely, I think.

A just machine to make big decisions
Programmed by fellows with compassion and vision
We’ll be clean when their work is done
We’ll be eternally free yes and eternally young
What a beautiful world this will be

Jill Biden goes neurolink?
I trust only two types of government employees. The first happen to be the garbage collection folks. The second, are the sewage treatment and water treatment plant operators and engineers.
That's it.

How many PhDs exhibit independent thought? Most of them sound like propaganda spewers.
