Obviously the police need further de-funding.
If they’re stealing the whole machine, apple tag it and track them down.
Amish people again?
Exploding dye packets need to be built in but some busybodies would claim “climate change” or something and not get used.
When you don’t put criminals in jail and at the same time let thousands of foreign criminals into the country this is what you get. Only twenty percent of registered voters in NYC actually vote so it ain’t gonna change because that twenty percent is probably the communists.
How much money do ATMs typically have in them when “full”?
They’re probably going to have to be put in police stations.
Another possibility is to put magnetic strips in money.
The ones at the bank, 10s of thousands
They can hold up to 1,000 $20s I believe based on a Luxxle search.
I suspect they are only stocked with a day’s demand for cash - probably $3,000 or so.
What the NYC merchants need to do is to offer cash back like Florida grocery stores and Walmarts do on card purchases. This keeps the cash on hand smaller and serves the customer need to be able to get cash.
Note the cigarette sign in the upper left-hand corner.
The narrator is lamenting that cops aren’t everywhere at once and cops securing the subways is taking resources away from ATM thefts.
First. Who if their right mind would be a cop in a city that hates the cops and releases criminals they bust hours late with dropped charges?
Two. ATM robberies don’t kill people like crazy thugs pushing people in front of subway cars or lighting them on fire.
Three. There aren’t GPS trackers in ATMS? Are dye packs real? Or is that a movie thing?
At a minimum adding 200 pounds to their weight should be easy enough, even with steel. If they use lead, then close to 1000 lbs. should be doable. Obviously the weights are added after they’re installed.
I have always been partial to Claymore mines.
Anything wrong with bolting them to the floor?
