Trump: Putin is ‘destroying’ Russia
Politico EU ^ | 1/21/2025 | VERONIKA MELKOZEROVA

“I think he should make a deal,” U.S. president says about the Kremlin chief. The war “is not making him look good.”

Russia's war on Ukraine has landed Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin in "big trouble," U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters on Monday.

"[Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelenskyy told me he wants to make a deal, I don’t know if Putin does ... He might not. I think he should make a deal. I think he’s destroying Russia by not making a deal," Trump said in the Oval Office on the first day of his second presidency.

"I think, Russia is kinda in big trouble. You take a look at their economy, you take a look at their inflation in Russia. I got along with [Putin] great, I would hope he wants to make a deal," he added.

-snip-

"He’s grinding it out. Most people thought it would last about one week and now you’re into three years. It is not making him look good," Trump said.

"We have numbers that almost a million Russian soldiers have been killed. About 700,000 Ukrainian soldiers are killed. Russia’s bigger, they have more soldiers to lose but that’s no way to run a country," he added.

Good point. The US pushed this war with Russia for decades, all with no provocation from Russia. The world will be better when the US stops acting like it is the Boss of the World. We have less than zero money (greater debt than any nation at any time in history) and a leadership class that still carries an agenda that “the weather” will destroy all life on earth if humans try to use any natural resources for heat and energy. Trump is trying to turn that back, but the Republican Party still carries this insane idea in its Uniparty members.

“He also said he would end this war on his first day in office.”

I still think this is going to happen. It didn’t seem like a typical campaign promise. He knew what kind of message he’s sending to Putin, and he knows the man’s soul.

“Trump will institute hard sanctions that will bring Rooski economy to a grinding halt.”

The Russian apartments blocks are still standing.

There’s plenty of natural gas to heat them since the EU has slashed imports of Russian gas.

There’s also plenty of motor vehicle fuel since sanctions limit its export. Some vehicles may need repair parts that will force them out of service. However, for almost impacted Russians, either public transportation or a ride with a friend or neighbor will allow them to get on with life.

The trams still run. The buses still run. All needed repair parts would come from Russia.

The tractors still work. The parts to repair them were always made in Russia.

The farms don’t lack for fertilizer even with military demand for explosives.

The Russian cows and bulls eat grass and grain, which remain plentiful. The Russian pigs have Russian grain to eat.

The Russians can and do grow root vegetables. In summer and fall, a little plot will yield a lot of greens, tomatoes, etc.

....

As for machine tools, the Russians can buy what they don’t make off China and pay in gold if necessary.

” Trump has signed an executive order temporarily suspending all U.S. foreign assistance programs for 90 days pending reviews. This is how to end the Biden war.”

True, but the KEY THINGS are what Trump doesn’t say, which is continuing the missile strikes in Russia, sending US troops to Ukraine, threatening nuclear war. Instead he’s saying that, given what CNN (and the Zeepers) are telling him, the war is taking an unacceptable toll on Russia and therefore Putin should come begging to us to end the war. He’ll being waiting through his entire term if he thinks that will happen.

“Putin replenishing arsenal of missiles and drones from Iran and North Korea, German general says”

I doubt Trump falls for the North Korea crap, but even if he does believe it, I don’t see how that would change anything from Trump’s perspective.

“Where to begin….”

Not sure why they keep pressing that line (Ukraine was never going to join NATO), when it’s laughable given that NATO is already at war with Russia over Ukraine.

But Marcy reminded us everyday that Pooty-Poo could not take “Kiev in 3 days”.
Yet, NATO is afraid Pooty-Poo Will Invade Europe?
What a joke.
If Europe feels insecure they should deploy 100,000 French Surrender Monkeys
along with the Poles and England also supplying troops to the eventual DMZ.
It’s not Trumps War.
Trump will not deploy 1 American Solder directly or thru NATO to YouCrayne.

Trump has to purge the DNC at home and end Biden’s wars abroad. The US is involved in a dozen regime change operations as we speak. As far as Trump’s problems with Russia, he has to get the State Department under control.

Trump and Rubio are going to become very different in their approach to their jobs once they actaully speak with the Russians. Lavrov will set Rubio straight with actual intelligence information. Putin will do the same for Trump.

The Globalists’ and entrenched neo-con power brokers in the US and EUrope have lost their collective (communist/facist) minds over someone actually speaking to Putin and Lavrov. The lies will be exposed.

Trump’s biggest problem from Ukraine is keeping the EU from experiencing another 2007/8 meltdown this year.

NATO is in Ukraine. You can go to work for the NYT with those kind of propoganda lies.

There is a lot of information now coming out about the final three weeks before Russia launched the Special Operation.

Blinken, Harris and Biden were totally responsible. The archrival evidence is now seeing the light of day, and the evil unleashed by the warmonging Biden Admin inner circle will unburden you.

Much to your disappointment, Trump will be giving no quarter to Vlad the neo-communist rat. Part of the reason is that Trump must be tough on your Boy Bad Vlad, due to all the Dems + media Russia collusion propaganda. That I assure you at least 40% of Americans still believe was real.

Vlad’s RooskiLand (and Iran by the way) is about to be suffer full US sanctions, to get Vlad scurrying into real and fair negotiations, to end his Ukraine invasion war.

Some here say you are Rooski. My take is that you are a simpleton, Barum and Baily clown act. Bad Vlad is not aware of your pro-Russian aggression agitprop. You labor here in obscurity.
