Who ratted them out?
Hey, California Native Plant Society, nice building you got there. (Insert what should be following this...)
People lost their lives and homes because of crap like this.
Eco Fascists need to be fired or sent to monitor Polar Bear Mating habitats in Barrow, Alaska if they have civil service protection
It seems that the US Dept of Fish & Wildlife is in collusion with cali nuts to classify endangered weeds over other priorities. Refer to the list embedded in the PDF at source (almost exclusively in ca).
It behooves the stupid living there to ensure that none of the species on this list exist on your property...particularly in advance of a purchase.
This “endangered species” crap is just another way for government to eliminate private property. They’re sneaky. They have hated the Constitution all their lives, and have found a way to nullify it.
So S, S, S?
Makes sense.
If a fire swept through the area and destroyed the plants, would the fine still stick?
“You own property, but do you have any rights to utilize it?”
Sure, after you pay thousands for an environmental impact study and inflated costs to relocate the species in question.
The minimal fines and punishment for environmental violations in Ca is $10,000 dollars and/or ten years in jail.

. do we ?
shasta county had %50 of runbeck printed ballots that were unreadable , and had to be ‘ cured’ behind a locked door , cuz of ink over-spray that was invisible to the naked eye.
( what printer uses invisible ink , and has not enough quality control to catch it when it came off the printing machine. ? and how does that over-spray that was invisible, get over and on top of the ballots that were marked over and after said invisible ink ?
tell me again, whose votes are REALLY being counted ?
so sick of the voter and election fraud denial .
and the 100% gas light of
” you voted for this “

what next? No building, or mowing, or lawn maintenance if dandelions are discovered on lawns?
Every blade of grass you see here is native (almost all Bromus vulgaris). The grand mountain dandelions are Agoseris grandiflora, and you should see those with dew on them, as they're unbelievably gorgeous. Before the Clarkia comes up is a crop of native clover (Trifolium wildenovii). There is also a mix of Madia exigua in it too. In other words, for these plants to express this kind of beauty demands understanding and redeveloping an entire plant community that is beyond the technical capability of most of the zealots in CNPS!
Given the illegitimate regulatory environment these landowners face, they would have been better served had they started growing some in anonther location on their property. Now don't get me wrong. I'm not into forcing anybody to do something that demanding. I am saying that CNPS and the bureaucrats are doing more damage to native plant habitat with this heavy-handed approach. Helping people grow the stuff and learn to appreciate what they moved into the area to enjoy works better. Had the eco-NAZIs approached the situation rationally, the plant would not be rare.
In this case, grading could actually be advantageous to Clarkia, as long as they're willing to weed it aggressively. It's exotics that are the usual threat to this plant, not soil disturbance that can actually help it.
I would bet that if there was a person who wanted to build a housing project for retired democrat bureaucrats it would be ok.
This is common in CaCaLand. Make-believe “endangered” whatevers are used by treehugger commies to bully. Typical commie trash behavior.
Thank you for that very informative post.
Thank you. You can learn more about our project at wildergarten.org.
Too bad California’s Government doesn’t worry as much about its citizens as it does for flowers. I wonder who they will fine for any flower destroyed by those wildfires ... probably those folks who lost their homes and there happened to be a rare flower growing on their property.
I lived in NEVADA COUNTY—N CALIF for 12 years.
The DRUG ADDLED CRAZIES on the COUNTY SUPERVISORS BOARD decided that “WE” needed to INVENTORY EVERY BIRD/BEE/ INSECT/ BUSH/TREE in the County.
ONLY THE TREES & BRUSH ARE STATIONARY—the rest are VERY MIGRATORY.
THEN-—”THEY” would determine HOW “WE” COULD USE OUR PROPERTIES.
MANY PROPERTY OWNERS IN NEVADA COUNTY ARE MULTI-GENERATION PROPERTY OWNERS.
AN UPROAR ENSUED.
THEY ALSO STATED THE “VOLUNTEERS” WOULD BE ENTERING OUR LAND WITHOUT ANY NOTICE OR PERMISSION. IF THOSE VOLUNTEERS GOT ANY INJURY DOING THAT-—WE WOULD BE LIABLE.
BIGGER UPROAR.
FIGHTING BACK:
NOT GIVING ANYONE PERMISSION TO BE ON MY PROPERTY-—HORSES RULE THERE-—AND WHO CAN PROMISE THERE WILL NO GATES LEFT OPEN? ALL MY GATES WERE CHAINED & PADLOCKED. ALL MY HORSES WILL RACE DOWN TO SEE IF “INVADERS” HAVE ANY TREATS. MY HORSE WILL NOT ATTACK-BUT some RETIRED GERIATRIC CITY PROFESSOR COULD HAVE A HEART ATTACK......
MADE THAT DEMAND IN WRITING FOR DECLARATION ON RECORD.
THIS IS A CLEAR TAKING: We were given permission by the county with ZONING rules & BUILDING PERMITS -—which we had to PAY FOR & ABIDE BY. THEY COULD NOT CHANGE THE RULES RETROACTIVELY-—PERIOD. We HAD MADE INVESTMENTS IN HOMES/ SHELTERS/FENCING and other IMPROVEMENTS. COUNTY DIDN’T PAY FOR ALL THAT LABOR/MATERIALS
ALSO-—IF I BOUGHT MY PROPERTY TO HAVE MY HORSES—WHICH I DID-—IF YOU RESTRICT THAT USAGE-—THAT IS A CLEAR “TAKING” & THE COUNTY MUST PAY ME FOR MY “LOSS OF USAGE”. AT CURRENT MARKET VALUES.
PACIFIC LEGAL FOUNDATION SUPPORTED US.
THE “INVENTORY” PLANS FINALLY DIED.
DURING THE MEETINGS-—THE ROOM WAS STANDING ROOM ONLY. LOTS OF HORSES IN NEVADA COUNTY-—ALONG WITH A FEW LARGE ORCHARDS & A WINERY.
THE SEEDS STILL FLY IN THE WIND
I live where Venus fly traps grow as well as another carnivorous plant. They are very particular in their needs, but you can keep them as a house plant. I had one for several years with no problems.
SeeBS Sunday show had a “climate expert” explaining how fires have changed and are now “more intense” than ever before! What? I’ve seen some BS on that show before but that was crazy nuts. Not once did they mention the true cause of the fire; incompetent elected idiots, arsonists and failure to clear brush and grass. Boy, one day before Trump is back and the SeeBS folks are giving their best PT Barnum showing!
