God knows perfectly well where all the interesting and important artifacts are buried, and He knows which objects He wants to be unearthed. That begs the question whether the researchers are actually bothering to pray for His guidance in where to dig..............

When it comes to Israeli antiquity, you have “Probable”, “Possible” and “Ok you are kidding right?”
This is a “Probable”!
The Garden of Gethsemane is considered a “Very Probable”

***Both kings are identified as paternal grandfathers of Jesus by the Gospel of Matthew. ***
Joseph’s ancestry is in Matthew. Not ancestors of Jesus as that genealogy has Jechonias in it. Jesus’ ancestry is in Luke (through Mary) and goes back to Nathan, son of David.
Jeremiah chapter 22
30Thus says the Lord: “Write this man (Jechonias) down as childless, a man who shall not succeed in his days, for none of his offspring shall succeed in sitting on the throne of David and ruling again in Judah.”
