It Takes 26 Fundamental Constants To Give Us Our Universe, But They Still Don't Give Everything
https://www.forbes.com/ ^ | Dec 10, 2021 | Ethan Siegel

When we think about our Universe at a fundamental level, we think about all the particles in it and all the forces and interactions that occur between them. If you can describe those forces, interactions and particle properties, you have everything you need to reproduce our Universe, or at least a Universe virtually indistinguishable from our own, in its entirety.[...]

As it turns out, it takes 26 dimensionless constants to describe the Universe as simply and completely as possible, which is quite a small number, but not necessarily as small as we like. Here's what they are[...]

Every physical particle in space, is traveling faster than the speed of light . . . relative to at least 1 other particle’s location in space.

Very interesting article. The author said, “Our Universe is an intricate, amazing place, and yet our greatest hopes of a unified theory -- a theory of everything -- “

Hmmmm, a popular fiction book proclaimed the answer to that is “24”. LOL. That was a fun book to read and I still carry a towel around all day on every May 25.

However, getting serious…..
The author has pointed out more reasons why we know beyond a doubt that the universe as well as the earth was not just a cosmic random evolving, but was intelligent creation by a holy God.

I am sure daniel1212 is already fully aware of this. For the benefit of others reading this thread, if you are interested in a very detailed study of the biblical creation model of origin, I suggest Scientific Creationism by Henry Morris.

26 is the numeric value of G-d’s Ineffable Name.

I doubt that!

The universe is said to have begun as an “infinitely” dense, hot fireball. A single point that contained all the matter in the universe.

Define “infinitely dense”. (Can’t do it)

Where did the energy come from to make it hot?

Where did the energy come from to make it explode?

A point has no dimensions, up, down, sideways. No height, no width, no depth. So how does that point get to be “infinitely dense”?

Where did the matter come from?

What forces led to the undifferentiated matter turning into electrons, protons and neutrons, and what started the electrons orbitting and what set them to their energy level?

"As it turns out, it takes 26 dimensionless constants fudge factors to describe the Universe as simply and completely as possible"

except for the fact that no one has yet to mathematically model the existence of consciousness or include it any of their models or calculations [or even come up with a universal fudge factor to model it] ...

and besides, given the admittedly indeterminate nature of subatomic particles, the notion of a determinate universe is long gone, and it's ridiculous to even still be talking about it like this ridiculous article in forbes ...

Ooops. You are right, it is 42. How could I forget? Many years ago, I use to use 42 in the numbers in my passwords.

Thanks. I do not see any way to contact the author, and this is beyond my "pay grade," but input as yours helps to evaluate some points.

24? Are you sure it's not 42?

But wait, you might be on to something. Divide 24 by 42 and you get 0.5714285714285714... which repeats the same 6 digits forever. The only digits not represented are 3, 6, & 9. Hello Nikolai Tesla.
