Imgur.com deleted this video clip of a jet starting and stopping a contrail. Why?

I use my FR homepage as a scrapbook for things I find interesting online and might want to link to someday.

I stumbled across this gif a couple of weeks ago (I do not remember where) and uploaded it to Imgur.com and posted it on my homepage.

Yesterday I went looking for it on my homepage and discovered Imgur.com had deleted it.

Contrails are one of those things we are assured are a conspiracy theory and that contrails are always present from jets.

This gif shows that they can turn off the contrails at will and that they spray in a grid. Those grid clouds are not natural. They are a result of spraying in a controlled grid pattern.

The fact that this gif was deleted tells me that somebody does not want it posted. It will be interesting to see how long the new gif lasts.

Jets do not always make contrails. Contrails are based on the temperature of the air and the amount of moisture in the air.

In your post, the contrail stops. That could be caused by the pilot needing to initiate a descent and closing the throttles to idle.

And piston aircraft can make contrails, too.

I’ve flown formation at the altitudes that contrails form and have seen this coming from my lead. No need to explain why. But it happens without complex conspiracy theories.

Videos that haven’t had forensic analysis are meaningless these days. Also, the visibility of contrails comes and goes with different atmospheric conditions. What I want to see is someone gather what is being allegedly “dropped” and analyze it. Until that is done, there is no evidence.

I have been using them for years and this is only the second or third time something was deleted. The other times I couldn’t figure out what they had deleted, but this time I could.

If the chemicals can be turned on/off then it is injected into the fuel supply and not mixed in the fuel at the refinery. An engine injection system would be pretty obvious to the wrench turner dudes.

When jets fly at about 26 thousand feet above sea level they create condensation... Below that level they don’t... The jet in video was traveling downwards... Reach an altitude below that level and the condensation trail stopped... It’s not ‘rocket’ science... It’s just science.
