Illegal Immigration Is Killing Small Towns
American Thinker ^ | 13 Jan, 2025 | J.B. Shurk

Dementia Joe’s disastrous presidency can’t end soon enough. While he’s busy offering clemency to child rapists and murderers (and teasing the prospect of pardons for the lawfare tyrants who tormented his political adversaries these miserable last four years), his chief operating officer handling the Democrats’ suicidal open borders policy — Department of Homeland (in)Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas — is preoccupied with shielding a million more foreign nationals from future deportation. This extra protection for Venezuelans, El Salvadorans, Ukrainians, and Sudanese is in addition, of course, to the lawless Biden regime’s ongoing criminal conspiracy to aid and abet international drug smugglers, sex slavers, and black market crime syndicates by resettling millions of illegal aliens (cartel “cargo”) across the United States. If the Biden White House really wants to insulate itself from the consequences of its own criminality, it will need to issue thousands of additional pardons for its closest friends (and America’s enemies) in the next few days.

Human trafficker Mayorkas has to be one of the most vile demons in a Democrat den brimming with evil spirits. The DHS devil helped the Chinese Communist Party kill Americans with fentanyl and looked the other way as a half-million or more young children were imported as chattel and sexual playthings for the country’s most repugnant Hell-bound deviants. Yet the execrable pedophile-enabler never missed an opportunity to stand before cameras with a fiendish smile and defame as “racists” those who object to his criminal depravity. Mayorkas — who made America only less secure while being charged with an obligation to do the opposite (a default in duty common among the Biden regime’s “America Last” fifth column) — spent his time in office ensuring that Americans are more likely to be the victims of rape, murder, robbery, and other violence.

I hope the Supreme Court rules that “blanket immunity” cannot be given under pardon powers. These people have broken so many laws that they would not know where to begin with individual pardons.

It’s a feature. Small towns cannot be allowed under the 15 minute city plan. They are populated by skilled craftsmen with climate destroying pickup trucks that are used to transport workers, tools and material to work sites. That needs to be done by green public transportation.

When will we discover Biden's goons and thugs were working with the cartels all along. Lots of money to be made selling American citizenship... And if that's the case - would it be considered treason? Would a blanket pardon protect a traitor?

Ignorance stupidity and violence are the only operating tools Biden and party and their supporters have to control America into chaos.

Seeding illegal immigrants into thousands of small towns across the country is just another expedient way of erasing American history.

And that is absolutely their intent. First, they erase history, then they rewrite it.

“Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past...

Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

~ George Orwell, "1984"

Has anyone heard of any such crimes by legal H1-B workers?

I, for one, would like to see the evidence brought before Congress as to “who & how” the decisions were made to send these illegals around the country by air & bus...

...and a full $$ accounting.

Our small town is holding on but our county seat has been taken over.

There were a handful of established Hondurans/Mexicans. We’ll call them the cartel, lowercase “c” for brevity. Then the invaders arrived.

They’re contracted out to a local factory by the cartel. The cartel has snapped up all available real estate, both residential and commercial, to house the invaders and use as business fronts. They also have a fleet of vehicles that are, we assume, “rented” out to the invaders. The cartel collects their rent (and probably various fees) directly from their paychecks.

As a result, locals can’t afford the housing prices because a family can’t afford to pay as much as the cartel who are going to cram 10 or 15 people into it and collect rent from each. Locals can’t start a business for the same reason.

They drive around in cars that don’t belong to them with no license or insurance, many times drunk, hitting other cars, buildings and even houses. But, it’s only a misdemeanor and the county will provide a public defender and translator (who just happens to be a cartel member) for their interactions with the courts. Since none have an ID, they’re free to use a false name or switch their own names around. Since they generally have four names instead of three, the combinations are endless. Jose Rodriguez Gonzales Morales can be Jose Gonzalez Morales Rodriguez next time.

Their baby mamas are sucking up every bennie they can get their hands on, cartel translator by their side to guide them through the process.

They have no roots here, care nothing about this community and never will.

For about a decade I’ve been paying close attention to the conditions in small towns in central PA. Nearly all have, in these years, been subjected to an influx of newcomers in significant numbers. Some are from the east, driven away by crime and taxes...some are criminals (mainly drug-related and non-citizens here illegally). It’s hard to tell the difference, but the increase in crime is considerable, as well as the deterioration of the houses, and the number of homeless and squatters. Things happen here often, that according to the old timers, never used to happen. Even ten years ago it was pretty peaceful. And for what it’s worth the public school proficiency tests are at around 60 percent, though they weren’t much better ten years ago. Churches? They’re mostly empty or “repurposed,” and we now have some mosques.
The old timers pass and their heirs live elsewhere — selling Grandma’s house for peanuts. The insurance companies don’t like to cover vacant houses, and the cost of keeping and maintaining the premises gets tiresome.
Meanwhile the best anthracite coal is still under our feet. Don’t you dare dig it out. (Or in Centralia, it continues to burn unchecked.)

The police could use automatic license plate scanners and beef up their retirement fund quite substantially.

I worked at a packing house in Schuyler, Nebraska and the company recommended a $2.00 per hour cut for all positions. Union said they’d never shutdown so the employees voted against it, they shutdown for two years to break the contract, re-opened at $6 less per hour & mostly illegal aliens working there. This was back in the early 1980s.

The pardon power was obviously meant to parallel that of the English kings and to be used to prevent injustice because sometimes laws get written incorrectly and juries make dubious decisions.

WIKI

In the English and British tradition, the royal prerogative of mercy is one of the historic royal prerogatives of the British monarch, by which they can grant pardons (informally known as a royal pardon) to convicted persons. The royal prerogative of mercy was originally used to permit the monarch to withdraw, or provide alternatives to, death sentences; the alternative of penal transportation to “partes abroade” was used since at least 1617. It is now used to change any sentence or penalty. A royal pardon does not overturn a conviction.

In modern times, by constitutional convention, the prerogative is exercised by the Sovereign on ministerial advice

They are everywhere here now. Not causing problems yet. But daytime shopping at the local grocery store exposes just how many there are. There are more squatty Central Americans than the usual white locals. ALL on the state run EBT cards.
