incoming Ukraine envoy Keith Kellogg

Another example of a general who has fought nothing stronger than a cold.

Is any Iranian’s house going to shrink because of sanctions?

Are Iran’s sheep going to roll over dead?

Are moths going to eat all their clothes?

Is their Internet going to stop working?

Are they going to run out of devices to surf the Internet? I own about seven Internet surfing devices.

Most of the world doesn’t fill up an SUV with Chinese goodies come weekends.

Iran has about 91 million people.

That’s more people than the UK, France or Germany.

Iran can support a big and diverse economy.

One major component of the Ukraine settlement will be an agreement by Russia to stop it's support of Iran's nuclear programs and it's terror networks.

This is one major reason Putin bailed on Assad and Syria.

The Russians knew they were going to have separate from Iran as part of the Ukraine agreement to get the best deal and if Russia does that, Syria also loses the Iranian support propping up Assads regime

So Assad was a dead duck and Russia cut it's losses in Syria and let Turkey take over in Syria on the cheap while Biden was still in office to best screw the US

I wonder if these comments were authorized by the Trump team. We’ve got a full slate of incoming national security -related officials so I doubt the Ukraine envoy is the one they want opining as to Iran policy. But maybe we’ll find out.

“U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming Ukraine envoy Keith Kellogg told an Iranian opposition event in Paris on Saturday.” What does Ukraine have to do with Iran?

Why is the Ukrainian envoy concerning himself with Iran.

He doesn't have enough to do trying to end the war in Ukraine?

Putin is setting a trap for Trump in Ukraine

The only way to compel Putin to make concessions is to increase the cost of his aggression.

“Until now, the brutal conflict in Ukraine has been fought chiefly with missiles, bombs and soldiers, with deadly consequences. But as the war enters its fourth year since Russia’s full-scale invasion, the action could shift from the battlefield to the negotiating table. President-elect Donald Trump says he wants to do a deal — and soon. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s own cynical strategy is to use negotiations to buy more time for his aggression.

Trump must avoid this trap. In his news conference on Tuesday, Trump doubled down on his promise to resolve the war quickly after taking office, underscoring his belief in a deal with Putin while expressing skepticism about Ukraine’s ambitions to join NATO. Trump didn’t repeat his campaign promise to end the war “in 24 hours,” and Trump’s nominee for special envoy to Ukraine, retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, reset the clock on Fox News the following day. The Trump administration now wants to broker peace within 100 days of taking office.

This continued desire for a quick win plays into Moscow’s hands.” (Excerpt)

“The world must return to a policy of “maximum pressure” against Iran to turn it into a more democratic country, “

The Middle East is just full of democracies.
