Gone is the picturesque, white-painted property with floor-to-ceiling windows and in its place, a charred mass of crumbled masonry with only two chimney stacks still standing.

Also destroyed in the blaze was the neighboring home which had been rented by Hunter’s Secret Service protection detail for an eyewatering $16,000-a-month – the tab picked up by the US taxpayer.
The house is one of several Malibu rentals Hunter has occupied in recent years. His previous residence was also in the beach city.
That Spanish-style pad cost him $20,000-a-month while his security detail were put up in an even more lavish property next door – at a cost of $30,000-a-month
'Hunter and Melissa were horrible tenants. Not only did they stiff the owner for months of rent, they left the house in terrible condition,' the source said.
The source added, 'They were totally disrespectful of Jonathan and [his wife] Leora's property.
’Melissa was rude and entitled. They destroyed the stereo equipment in the home and when someone came to fix it, they were uncooperative. They also left the place dirty.'
Color me not surprised.
He was just renting....he could care less...and I have a feeling he removed a lot of stuff as soon as they heard about the fire moving that way.
Firemen were trying to put the fire out but complained about feeling lightheaded and having racing heartbeats.
