Thousands of ancient couples used to swear by the life changing and circumstance improving effects of sacrifice to Molech.
Who’s to say they were wrong?

The caapi vine itself was the subject of a dispute between U.S. entrepreneur Loren Miller and the Coordinating Body of Indigenous Organizations of the Amazon Basin (COICA). In 1986, Miller obtained a U.S. patent on a variety of B. caapi.

It’s nature!
This guy didn’t splice the plant’s friggin’ genome. At best he melded with cross pollination and junk like that. I’m a free market capitalist with an emphasis on FREE MARKET, so please don’t go calling me a communist. Trying to take something that you found in nature and restricting people’s access to it through intellectual property’s amazing ability to create ARTIFICIAL SCARCITY (which is nothing more than making an available thing illegal to own without paying someone for it) is not free market capitalism. /end rant

I personally know one person, and friends know more, who took this stuff and it derailed their productive, successful careers. Be very careful.

Things that make you disassociate from reality are not good for you.
Pain is reality and I am for pain killers but other than that reality? Real life? Subjecting you to the inability to know what is real or what’s not?
No. Nothing but bad for you.
And the people who have to deal with you.

Naturally. Sounds like Timothy O’Leary all over again. I’m surprised “creativity” is not on the list.

My wife wants to take me to Peru to try that stuff. Frankly it makes me nervous. Maybe I have some demons to exercise. And sure I’ve got my personal issues to deal with. But I’m not sure about tripping in the jungle with natives.
