However, travel guide TasteAtlas has taken a shot by analyzing ratings from users, who deemed Greek food the overall best of the top 100 cuisines on the globe.
The United States, meanwhile, placed outside the top ten in this culinary decathlon, but still fared better than our neighbors across the pond in the UK.
To determine who deserved a place on this Olympic podium of eats, TasteAtlas analyzed 477,287 ratings for 15,478 foods in their database. Listed underneath each entry were their highest rated foods. Perhaps it’s fitting that the country that invented democracy was picked via crowdsourcing on this highly-subjective countdown. Mexican food is much more than that. If you’re ever in Salt Lake City (yes, that one in Utah), give the Red Iguana a try. They have seven different mole’ dishes (six listed in the mole’ section of the menu and an almond mole’ dish in the classic section.) They also have cochinita pibil which is a Yucatan speciality. I’ve had everything I mentioned, and it’s all great. They do the typical Mexican food too, but that’s not the reason to go there.

Portuguese - great food. Yes lots of seafood, but excellent steaks, fantastic soups, and one of the world’s best desserts - pastel de natas.
A top ten best cuisine that doesn’t list Thai Cuisine is not worth the paper it’s printed on.
I agree with your concise description:
Mexican is workaday food.
I am probably in the same place as you on food and happiness.
It is a place of peace.
Big smile
