XLR Roadster
Very kool.
Manual xmissions and AWD?
FUGLY.
Which translation app did the author use?
I have to hope that is the case, if this is not a translation but the result of domestic education we are doomed.
We all hate Google but it's far better than whatever this A-rab used.
Does not seem to be an actual production car at all.
You nailed it!
Only pure EGO would buy a car with that grill!
Porsche guy myself (older ones - new ones prices are absurd) still set the bar for beauty in cars......
Well...this entrepreneur deserves some credit...the country code +92 belongs to Pakistan.
I haven’t investigated at all, but it does look a bit too good [both of them].
356Cs?
Butterface...
I had a 2004 XLT hardtop convertible, that had a 3.6 liter engine. It was pretty fast, but a 5.5 liter with twin-turbos gives a 0-60 in under 4 seconds.
Not quite as fast as the 2014 Corvette Stingray I bought the wife.
i still don’t understand why all of those 85-year-old guys who buy new Cadillacs need all of that horsepower just to toodle along down the road to church on sunday and the grocery store on weekdays ...
But I deleted his email, and can't find that one he sent me
Here is a video of the roadster with a different grill:

That Corvette was the beast, without question.
“Luxury sports car”
Only Madison Avenue or someone utterly clueless could say that with a strait face.
Anyone using the term has NO idea what a sports car is supposed to be.
If they had said Luxury GT Car it might be acceptable.
Of course the current crop of consumers have no idea what a GT car is either.
And it’s still FUGLY!
Interesting car. Quirky verbiage written by AI.
Agree. The article makes it sound like it's the real thing. I'm waiting to see. GM and especially Cadillac roll out so many "this is what's coming" vehicles that we never see at a dealer that I have doubts about this, too.
GT stands for Gran Turismo, which is an Italian word that means wither great touring or grand touring, which indicates luxury driving experience vehicle..
I get it, you do not find it attractive, but my XLR was fun to drive. And putting the hardtop down that folded up and placed itself into the trunk was a nice touch too. People would watch that with amazement, and then inquire what kind of car is that, I got to get one of those.
Thus, the development of the saying; Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. 🙂👍
If I were the designer, I would tend to fashion the XLR more along the lines of an Eldorado Biarritz 1957 1958 (had 4 headlights instead of 2 on the 1957 model year) body style, with a more aerodynamic front to reduce drag, in a 2-door 2-seat configuration, with modern chassis and suspension. It's the backend of that car that I would keep that styling more true to the 1957 version.
Actually I took that from the link but got rid of the word manages, under the price heading. It was written by an Arab, I’m guessing by virtue of the name, from where I have no clue. English is probably a second language for him. 🙂👍
You have the gist of it, but GT also implies High Speed touring.
An early epitome would be the “Blue Train Bentley”.
A true Sports Car does not have cup holders, power seats, cruise control, etc. LOL!
Yes, true sports cars ended in the late 60’s as Gov. Org. began meddling and Americans got lazy/spoiled.
Glad I still have a couple!
